Tom Parker and Gemma Merna are this year's standby contestants on 'The Jump'. The Wanted singer, 27, and the former 'Hollyoaks' star, 31, have been roped into joining the line-up for the forthcoming series as backups in case another celebrity pulls out. The duo have been hitting the Austrian slopes with the likes of 'The Only Way is Essex's James 'Arg' Argent and Rebecca Adlington for basic training in case they're forced to stand in at the last minute due to unexpected injuries on the snow. And Gemma - who was known for playing Carmel Valentine in the Channel 4 soap until...

The 'Hollyoaks' actress - who plays Mercedes McQueen - admits she and her castmates Jorgie Porter (Theresa), Mandip Gill (Phoebe) and Nicole Barber Lane (Myra) were distraught saying goodbye to Gemma Merna, whose alter ego Carmel Valentine was killed off in an explosive train crash, and couldn't hide their emotions. True Blood: Fox UK, 9pm
After seven years on air, HBO's sexy, campy, vampy drama is taking its final bow tonight. The focus in the last instalment is on the tortured relationship between Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Sookie (Anna Paquin), as the terminally ill vampire asks the telepathic waitress to help him die - and simultaneously rid herself of her powers.
But there's also a shotgun wedding, a few grizzly ends and - as ever - several searing zingers from the show's finest asset: the brutal, delightful Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten).
Under the Dome: Channel 5, 10pm
The second series of the tense drama continues tonight, as ominously red acid rain starts to fall on the trapped residents of Chester's Mill.
With supplies running low, Big Jim (Dean Norris, above) decides to count the town's population to better understand how long they can survive - while mysterious emails start arriving on everyone's smartphones.

Jorgie Porter last night became the first person to leave Dancing on Ice All-Stars in a shock result, but while her return to the show may have been brief, it was still pretty eventful.
See, the Hollyoaks actress had been paired with French fancier Sylvain Longchambon, who famously left her co-star and fellow Doi competitor Jennifer Metcalfe for his partner from last year, Coronation Street's Samia Ghadie.
This meant that Jorgie's short stint was packed with more tension than you'd expect from ten weeks of some other reality shows, and that's before you throw in a particularly untactful Phillip Schofield. Here are the most awkward moments of her Dancing on Ice swan song...
Jorgie on her first Dancing on Ice experience: "I remember having so much fun every single day."
Awkward in retrospect, given how her second stint was basically full of uncomfortable situations and controversy... and lasted just the one day.

Samia Ghadie has responded to Jorgie Porter's comments on Dancing on Ice about her boyfriend Sylvain Longchambon.
Longchambon dated Porter's Hollyoaks co-star Jennifer Metcalfe after they competed on the show three years ago, but left her for his 2013 Dancing on Ice partner Ghadie.
When Porter discovered on tonight's (January 5) show that she would be paired with Longchambon for this year's All-Star series, she was visibly uncomfortable and joked: "Does that mean I'm going to be his new girlfriend?'"
Ghadie took to Twitter today in response to Porter's comments, as well as to the Vt about the couple and jokes made by presenter Philip Schofield on the live show.
Ghadie wrote: "Jorgie needn't worry... He [Longchambon] won't go for burgers..."

Tom Daley returned to our screens this evening (January 4) as Splash! kicked off its second series.
The first heat saw Michaela Strachan, Gemma Merna, Gemma Collins, Perri Kiely and Ricky Groves take the plunge, as Daley and judges Andy Banks, Jo Brand and Leon Taylor watched on.
The series got off to an undeniably shaky start last January, as viewers and critics questioned why ITV had let the show see the light of day.
However, Splash! proved to be a ratings success for the channel, which led to its renewal shortly after last year's February final.
What did you think of the show's return? Are you glad to see Splash! back for another year? Is the series better second time round?
Finally, what do you make of this year's celebrities and their performance in tonight's first heat?
Share your thoughts on the return of Splash! in the comments section below.
