Rupert Murdoch, Lachlan Murdoch, Fox Corporation board member Paul Ryan and Fox Corp. executive Viet Dinh can be compelled to testify in Dominion’s upcoming defamation trial against Fox News, a judge said on Wednesday.
Delaware Judge Eric M. Davis said that Dominion would have to issue a trial subpoena to force such live testimony, but he would not quash it over issues of inconvenience or because they previously have sat for depositions. Davis cited court precedent that officers, directors and managing agents of a Delaware corporation can be compelled to appear.
“Both Fox and Dominion have made these four parties very relevant,” Davis said.
He added, “If Dominion wants to bring them live, they need to do a trial subpoena and I would not quash it and I would compel them to come.”
He also cited issues with Rupert Murdoch’s deposition and whether questions asked of him were clear or unfairly prejudicial.

One Golden Buzzer numbers among the final group of “America’s Got Talent” quarter-finalists who will take the live stage at Universal Studios Hollywood on Tuesday, September 1: Howie Mandel‘s spoken word artist Brandon Leake. Tour our photos above for a preview of Tuesday’s Quarterfinals 4 episode, including talented kids Kenadi Dodds and Noah Epps. Keep in mind that football player/singer Thomas Day withdrew from the competition, so he’s been replaced by Broken Roots.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the entire season had to be re-structured, including the all-important live shows. Several of the acts who initially auditioned online due to stay-at-home orders will now come to Hollywood to perform, despite there not being a live studio audience. Host Terry Crews returned for this 15th season, joining judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Howie. After Simon broke his back, he missed the live shows as he recovered at home.

One of the most viral contestants from the “America’s Got Talent” auditions, Thomas Day, has been replaced in next week’s live show by singing duo Broken Roots. NBC/Fremantle confirms the last-minute switcheroo to Gold Derby, but isn’t revealing what prompted Thomas’ decision to withdraw from the reality TV show.
This 17-year-old singer and football player from Brentwood, Tn originally auditioned in the June 2 episode with “Break My Heart Again.” As you’ll recall, Howie Mandel earned boos from the crowd and his fellow judges when he called Thomas’ performance “stiff.” However, when Thomas was next seen in the Judge Cuts, Howie completely changed his tune and happily joined with the others in sending the teenager through to the live shows.

And then there were… fewer. Tuesday’s episode of America’s Got Talent reunited the judges (in person!) to crush a few more dreams and reveal which acts will be proceeding to the Season 15 live episodes.
As is the case with all difficult Agt decisions, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara were at each other’s throats from the jump, with several judges bringing up valid arguments like “You don’t know what it’s like to swallow a sword” and “Nein! Nein! Nein!” It was utter chaos.

Hey, "America's Got Talent" fans. Tonight, July 14, 2020, another new episode of America's Got Talent season 15 did indeed air. Tonight's episode featured more early auditions part 7. The judges: Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, and Sofia Vergara were on hand. Poor Heidi Klum was still out sick with a mystery illness. Tonight's auditions kicked off with Alex Hooper. He's a comedian. His set was pretty funny. There was no audience due to the terrible pandemic. After the performance, Simon said, "I don’t know why I like you. You’re such a d#@k. Keep insulting us. We love it.” Alex got a yes from all three judges. So, he's through to the next round. Next up was Light Wave Theatre Company. They are puppeteers from Romania that do shows with human size puppets.

“America’s Got Talent” season 15 resumed on July 14 with another two-hour episode showcasing the best (and worst) auditions. In this phase of “Agt,” an act needs at least three of the four judges to give them a “yes” vote to advance to the next round. If two or more judges buzz the act, it is immediately eliminated.
Each judge, along with host Terry Crews, has one chance to hit the “golden buzzer” and send an act straight through to the live performances. Terry was inspired to press his golden buzzer on the season 15 premiere by the performance of the Voices of Our City Choir. Their mission is to serve the homeless community of San Diego. In their audition they sang “Sounds of the Sidewalk,” an original tune written and produced through their songwriting clinic. In the second episode, new judge Vergara made it rain gold for 10-year-old Roberta Battaglia who delivered...

“Heidi is gonna be so mad at us for doing this, but you’ve got three yeses,” Simon Cowell stated during Tuesday’s episode of “America’s Got Talent.” He was speaking to comedy roaster Alex Hooper, an act who was initially booed off the “Agt” stage in 2018 in part for insulting Heidi Klum, but who’s now sailed through to the next round of this 2020 season (watch above). With Heidi still out sick from a fever, that left Simon, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara to decide whether the naughty stand-up comedian would advance to the upcoming Judge Cuts. How will Heidi react when she finds out one of her most-hated acts has returned to NBC’s reality TV show? Stay tuned.

Hulk Hogan was officially welcomed back with open pythons — err, arms — by WWE on Friday at Saudi Arabia’s “Crown Jewel” pay-per-view event. The WWE Universe on Twitter seemed to have a less-accommodating response to the booking.
Below are some of the choice negative reactions.
To be fair, not everyone on the social media website was unhappy to see Terry Bollea back in the red-and-yellow — it just kind of felt that way when we looked around.
