Plot: The fourth-and-final season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan finds the titular character on his most dangerous mission yet: facing an enemy both foreign and domestic. As Jack and the team investigate how deep the corruption runs, he discovers a far-worse reality—the convergence of a drug cartel with a terrorist organization—ultimately revealing a conspiracy much closer to home and testing our hero’s belief in the system he has always fought to protect.

‘Jack Ryan’ Sets Premiere Date, Release Pattern For Abbreviated Fourth & Final Season On Prime Video
Fans of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan won’t have to wait long for the series’ final chapter. The fourth and final season of the popular Prime Video series starring John Krasinski will premiere June 30, just over six months after the Dec. 21 release of Season 3. That is by far the shortest gap between seasons, compared to 1 year and 2 months (between Seasons 1 and 2) and 3 years and 2 months (between Seasons 2 and 3).
Season 4 of Jack Ryan also will be the shortest. It will consist of six episodes, two fewer than each of the first three seasons. Additionally, the final installment will follow a different release pattern than Seasons 1-3, which all were dropped as a binge. Season 4 will release two episodes at a time, leading to the series finale on July 14. (Below is key art)

John Krasinski, who is known for playing Jim Halpert in “The Office”, will be seen performing a daredevil stunt in the upcoming third season of “Jack Ryan”. He was unbuckled and thrown off a helicopter in one of the action sequences.
About this, the actor said: “We were performing an air-water stunt where everyone on the helicopter that day was a Navy Seal. During the shoot, one of our buddies, Kevin Kent, said, ‘it would be a lot cooler if you did the stunt’. I said, ‘What would that look like?’ And he said, ‘It’d look like me unbuckling you and throwing you out of this helicopter’.”
He further recollected as he said: “And he did, right then and there. Whenever we can, whenever it feels safe (we do the stunts). I think you do get that little kid instinct of, ‘I can do that, we can try that!

Prime Video’s TV series about novelist Tom Clancy’s most famous character appears to have been the victim of some of the usual behind-the-scenes issues. Season 3 underwent not one, but two showrunner shakeups and then the world went into lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. Not only that, but right before Jack Ryan season 1 even premiered, its star John Krasinski proved himself to be a capable horror director with A Quiet Place and naturally had to return to helm its sequel.
Prime Video doled out an advance order for Jack Ryan Season 3 back in February 2019, before season 2 even premiered. And that was pretty much the last we heard of Jack Ryan season 3 for awhile, outside of some brief casting announcements. Now, however, Prime Video has finally announced a release date for the globe-trotting CIA analyst’s third outing.

Exclusive: Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, starring and executive produced by John Krasinski, has an end date in sight, I hear. Season 4 of the Prime Video action series, which is currently filming, will be its last, sources tell Deadline.
But that may not be the end of the franchise, produced by Amazon Studios, Paramount TV Studios and Skydance TV. I hear a potential spinoff series headlined by Michael Peña as another character from Clancy’s Jack Ryan literary universe, Ding Chavez, is in development.

Jack Ryan‘s end and potential spinoff are both a ways off as Prime Video has not set a Season 3 premiere date yet so fans will get two more seasons of the mothership series before it calls it a day, likely in 2023.

Exclusive: A key character will be returning to Amazon Prime Video’s Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. Abbie Cornish, who portrayed Cathy Mueller in Season 1, will be back to reprise the role in the recently announced fourth season.
There has been a lingering mystery surrounding Cathy Mueller, Ryan’s love interest in the first season, as well as in the books. The character was never written out of the show, she just disappeared. There was not a single reference of her throughout Season 2, and the only clue given was Ryan (John Krasinski) sleeping with another woman early on in the season, and then later on saying he’s single.
There is no information how Cathy will be reintroduced on the show. Her return could be set up in the upcoming third season, production on which recently wrapped with a premiere date still Tbd.

“Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” is changing showrunners again.
“Prison Break” creator Paul Scheuring, who was tapped to replace Carlton Cuse and run season 3 of the Amazon show less than three months ago, has stepped away from the role, Variety has confirmed.
Vaun Wilmott, who previously worked with Scheuring on “Prison Break” and recently served as a producer on “Star Trek: Discovery,” will be taking over showrunning duties for the forthcoming season.
Cuse left the series in March 2019, and “All The Money in the World” writer David Scarpa was originally in position to showrun season 3, according to sources, but reportedly exited the production soon after coming on board.
“Jack Ryan” stars John Krasinski as the titular CIA agent who, in the second season, ventures into a Venezuelan jungle to investigate an illegal arms deal. Cuse originally partnered with fellow “Lost” writer Roland to bring the Tom Clancy adaptation to the small screen.

But before we moved forward, we rewound a bit, to the six minutes prior to the gunshot that splattered blood on the lake house’s front door window. It turns out that Jacob had been in the cellar with Van Gogh and a tied-up Sara, struggling to argue his case to his thoroughly disenfranchised wife — resorting...

“Prison Break” is back and busting loose again.
In the revival series, Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) and Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) have found out that somehow Michael (Wentworth Miller) is alive. But of course he’s in prison. Time to do what they do best: Break out of prison. Meanwhile, Michael has a plan, and it involves something very innocuous. Check out this never-before-seen clip:
Along with the clip, Callies, Purcell, Miller and Robert Knepper, aka T-Bag, and execute producers Vaun Wilmott and Michael Horowitz appeared on the Comic-Con panel today in San Diego. Although we didn’t find out just exactly how Michael is alive (since he had apparently died in the series finale) we do learn that his tattoos are different this time around.
Miller said, “Michael has a fresh set of tattoos and they’re central to the plot. But they don’t work quite as they did the first time around.

The clock. The boxes. The dink! dink! dink! dink! ticking. They’ll all be there when 24: Legacy debuts in February, producers and stars of the Fox series assured fans during a San Diego Comic-Con panel on Sunday. And please, don’t call it a “reboot.”
“This is more of an expansion of the 24 universe,” producer Manny Coto told fans in Hall H, likening the upcoming series to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. “It’s really just another story in the same world” that introduced us to the original version’s Jack Bauer, played by Kiefer Sutherland.

Prison Break‘s Dominic Purcell remembers very clearly the first time he met co-star and on-screen brother Wentworth Miller.
Miller was was a “private” and “gentle” man, Purcell recalled during Fox’s Action Showcase at San Diego Comic-Con on Sunday, “and the most beautiful-looking man I had ever seen in my life.” He laughed. “And I was like, ‘Hang on, I thought I was the stud on the show.”
