Nearly two decades have passed since the release of the song ‘Kabhi aana tu meri gali’ by pop band Euphoria, featuring Vidya Balan. Vidya Balan recently reminisced about how her first Bollywood film, ‘Parineeta’, directed by Pradeep Sarkar in 2005, came her way.
Reflecting on her experiences while shooting the song alongside Palash Sen and under Sarkar’s direction, Vidya told Ians: “I remember when I shot ‘Kabhi aana tu meri gali’, it was over five nights. When I say nights, the shoot was supposed to be from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. But dada (Sarkar) would shoot beyond that.”
The National-Award-winning actress used to reside two hours away in Chembur, Mumbai, from the shoot location in Boisar.
“For five days, I did not come back home. I had a model friend living close by, and I would go to her house, bathe, come back, and sleep on location,” she recalled with laughter.

In Challengers, everyone is obsessed with Zendaya. Or, at least, her character Tashi Duncan. “She’s gonna turn her whole family into millionaires,” says Josh O’Connor’s young tennis champ Patrick Zweig, to old friend and doubles partner Art Donaldson (Mike Faist). “She’ll have a fashion line, a foundation.” It’s easy to see why they’re in awe. Duncan is a world-class player, brand ambassador, and the object of both their affections. And with regards to ambition, ability, and enormous success at a young age, they could just as easily be talking about Zendaya herself – a star who, over the past few years, has been executing her own Tashi-esque world domination. So far, she’s moved from kids’ TV star to being a part of some of the biggest movies on the planet. With Challengers, though, she’s taking things to a whole other level.

When Euphoria first aired, it set a new bar for teen dramas. Its cast is a mix of so many different characters with unique story storylines and personal struggles.
Each gave fans a different window into realities or a mirror to connect with.
It discusses addiction, sexual exploration, sexuality, domestic abuse, body image, first loves, heartbreaks, the ups and downs of friendships, and so much more.
The show has been awarded nine Emmys for its first two seasons, which is not an easy feat, and the actors' careers blew up from it.
It was an overnight success and had a magnetic effect on fans.
However, one question has been all the talk since the second season came out in January 2022: When will Season 3 air, or will there even be a third season?
However, there's a follow-up question that can't be ignored. Is it time to give up on Euphoria Season 3?

Update: Soon after this story was published, a source reached out to Variety to confirm that “Daisy Jones and the Six” will not be getting a Season 2 because “it was always planned as a limited series.”
Despite the success of “Daisy Jones & the Six,” star Riley Keough says the band isn’t getting back together anytime soon.
Despite fans hoping — and demanding — a second season of the Prime Video miniseries adaptation of Tara Jenkin Reid’s best-selling novel, Keough tells me, “I would love to but I don’t know if it’s in the cards…I haven’t heard anything.”
The series followed Daisy Jones (Keough) and her bandmates as they make their way through the Los Angeles music scene of the 1970s. The series premiered just over a year ago to positive reviews. Keough and Morrone earned Emmy nominations as did the show for outstanding limited or anthology series.

With Scarlett Johansson now in talks to star in the new Jurassic World movie, scooper Daniel Richtman has added a couple more casting rumours to the fire. According to Richtman, Colman Domingo (Euphoria) and Dev Patel (Monkey Man) are being eyed to star in the Jurassic World relaunch.
There’s no information on who Dev Patel might play in the Jurassic World movie, but Richtman added that Colman Domingo is being eyed to play the villain. Take all this with a grain of salt for now, but Patel and Domingo would make for excellent additions to the cast.

Season 2 of HBO’s Euphoria ended on a fairly positive note, with the series being HBO’s second most-watched show of all time when it aired in 2022. Watching live on Sunday nights became popular thanks to the countless memes that sprouted from the show’s dramatic plotlines. But now that it’s been two years since Lexi’s play and the fight that ensued, and probably another year until filming for the next season even begins, it’s hard to see a full third season as the right step forward.
This isn’t to say that script delays are entirely Sam Levinson’s fault. The WGA strike lasted for nearly five months thanks to the AMPTP’s refusal to meet the guild’s reasonable terms, and the unexpected death of star Angus Cloud during that time also means that script revisions were likely needed as soon as work was able to begin again.

Neon’s official trailer for Cuckoo features Hunter Schafer (Euphoria) as a teenager whose job at a resort is…possibly literally…pure hell. Dan Stevens (Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire) continues to dive into weird characters as the man who runs the resort.

Arriving at their future residence, they are greeted by Mr. König, her father’s boss, who takes an inexplicable interest in Gretchen’s mute half-sister Alma,” reads Neon’s synopsis. “Something doesn’t seem right in this tranquil vacation paradise. Once set up at the Max streaming service, the TV series Dead Boy Detectives, which is based on characters Neil Gaiman created for DC Comics in the pages of The Sandman issue #25, is now calling Netflix its home, having moved away from Max last year because it “doesn’t fit with DC executives James Gunn and Peter Safran’s plans for the Dcu.” Netflix has set an April 25th premiere date for the show, and with that date just a few weeks away, a trailer has arrived online. You can check it out in the embed above to see the titular characters deal with paranormal cases while My Chemical Romance plays on the soundtrack.

Hunter Schafer said this week she’d like to shift the public’s focus away from her trans identity.

“As soon as I say it, it gets blastoff,” she said. “It took a while to learn that, and it also took a while to learn that I don’t want to be [reduced to] that, and I find it ultimately demeaning to me and what I want to do. Especially after high school, I was sick of talking about it. Will Euphoria Season 3 ever see the light of day?
That’s been the big question ever since stars like Jacob Elordi and Sydney Sweeney soared in popularity after the release of Euphoria Season 2 in 2022.
Zendaya, who headlines the Emmy-winning drama, was a massive star before the show, and her career has continued to go from strength to strength during a lengthy hiatus between Euphoria Season 2 and the planned Euphoria Season 3.
When rumors swirled last week that the show had been canceled, HBO quickly pointed out that the cast was expected to return for filming later.
According to Variety, the series’ future is uncertain due to a myriad of issues.
Creator Sam Levinson allegedly turned in scripts for the third season that left HBO “feeling unsatisfied.”

Sony hopes to wash the taste of Madame Web out of people’s mouths with a new official Spider-Man that has the strength of the MCU behind it. Euphoria fans have been waiting for new episodes for over two years, and the delay shows no signs of slowing down soon.
Colman Domingo, who plays Ali on the HBO drama, is opening up about the reason behind the delay, and it’s not what you think.
While many thought the burgeoning careers of stars like Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, and Sydney Sweeney were behind the delays, the Fear the Walking Dead alum claims it’s all down to series creator Sam Levinson.
“[Sam is] a person who writes and rewrites and writes and rewrites again, because I think he’s wrestling with what’s important,” Domingo told GQ in a new interview.
“He’s responding immediately to what the ills of the world are. I know that the one thing I can tell you is that he’s very much interested in the existential question of who we are right now.

‘Slave Play’ in London: U.K. Prime Minister Calls Plan for Two Black Audiences-Only Shows “Divisive”
A London production of the U.S. play Slave Play, written by actor and playwright Jeremy O. Harris (Zola, Euphoria, Gossip Girl), is making political waves after the U.K. prime minister criticized plans to offer two performances exclusively for Black audiences as “wrong and divisive.”
The controversial play is set on a plantation and explores “race, identity and sexuality.” Its 13-week run at London’s Noel Coward Theatre, with a cast that includes Game of Thrones star Kit Harington, is scheduled to include two so-called Black Out performances for an “all-black-identifying audience,” just like the Broadway version of the show offered.
The producers of the London version told BBC News that their hope was “to celebrate the play with the widest possible audience” and that they “want to increase accessibility to theater for everyone.” They added: “The Broadway production conceived of Black Out nights, and we are carefully considering how...

Creepy noises. A distorted voice booming from speakers. A solitary girl walking into the night.
These sorts of things are a dime a dozen in horror trailers, and can be used in even the most inconsequential straight-to-Tubi fare. But when those same elements come in a teaser for an upcoming Neon release, we have to take notice.
Neon just dropped the first teaser for Cuckoo, directed by Tilman Singer and starring Euphoria‘s Hunter Schafer. As you can see in the video below, the trailer truly does tease the viewer, giving us little go on. Schafer’s character slowly makes her way out of what appears to be a school and towards the night, while a male voice crackles on blaring speakers, declaring, “The adolescent needs to be trained.” The character snaps open a knife as the scene cuts to black, punctuated with a scream, suggesting that this particular adolescent does not want training,...

‘Euphoria’ Stars Zendaya and Hunter Schafer Stun at Schiaparelli’s Alien-Inspired Paris Couture Show
Schiaparelli opened the Spring Summer 2024 season’s haute couture collections in Paris with an extraterrestrial bang.
The brand’s designer, Daniel Roseberry, treated the audience to a show inspired by the scientific studies of Giovanni Schiaparelli, uncle of Elsa Schiaparelli, founder of the fashion house. Giovanni, in 1877 as director of the Brera Observatory in Milan, discovered a series of canals that mark the surface of Mars.
“Giovanni Schiaparelli also coined the term ‘Martian’ and inadvertently started our modern fascination with creatures from another planet, which continues to this day, thanks to his discoveries,” the creative director told The Hollywood Reporter behind the scenes.
In addition to fashion, Giovanni’s niece was notoriously involved in stargazing and astrology, an occupation that included the whole family. Roseberry therefore took inspiration from this ancestral tradition and created “Schiaparalien,” a collection inspired by the inhabitants of Mars.

The sequel to 2022’s breakout horror hit Smile has entered production ahead of a release later this year. Here are soe new details about Smile Deluxe…
Smile Deluxe (love that title) has officially started production in Newburgh, New York. The follow-up to 2022’s Smile was virtually guaranteed when the first film came out of nowhere to become one of that year’s success stories, grossing almost $220m from a $17 production budget.
Considering that Paramount were considering simply putting the film straight onto its streaming platform, Smile’s incredible success became a key moment in that year’s shifting narrative regarding the value of theatrical runs for films of all shapes and sizes. Of course, that success also meant that a sequel was inevitable, and the project was fast-tracked into development with director Parker Finn returning to helm the next film in the series as part of a long-term deal he signed with Paramount.

When Fallon asked whether Elordi knew when Euphoria was going to start filming again, the actor was quick to quip,...

Updated Jan. 12, 11:20 a.m.: Updated to include more reunions information, plus additional presenters and performers.
Fox is bringing back two of its 1990s staples — “Martin” and “Ally McBeal” — for one night only. The two shows are among the roster of cast reunions planned for the 75th Emmys on Fox this Monday.
Emmy Awards executive producers Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay have planned a ceremony that leans heavily on the history of TV, given the award’s diamond anniversary. Tributes and reunions will focus on decades from the 1950s to the present.
“I think they’ll be talking about the ones that they may see on the screen,” Rouzan-Clay says of the reunions. “Those are going to be a big talking point, a big watercooler moment, if you will. … It was a grand task to figure out how to celebrate 75 years of television. If we can bring some nostalgia to that stage,...

Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell make for a pretty yet pretty unconvincing couple in a glossy yet charmless romcom
There’s something initially, strategically encouraging about the existence and positioning of Sony’s glossy romantic comedy Anyone But You. Unlike the overwhelming swath of recent films within the genre it isn’t aiming for the streaming scrapheap, instead getting a bullish big-screen release. Teased with semi-clad on-set pictures of the lead duo – Euphoria’s teary Sydney Sweeney and Top Gun: Maverick’s tanned Glen Powell – for almost a year now, did-they-or-didn’t-they rumours egged on, it feels like the most confidently and expensively pushed romcom for a long time.
An initial teaser might have proved a little muddled – too much sex, not enough appeal – and the subsequent Olivia Rodrigo-tracked trailer might have been a little broad – tacky enough to be swiftly, brutally parodied – but surely there must be something there,...
