Born in Prince Edward Island, John began his career in Film and TV
after landing principal roles in the popular TV series Trailer Park
Boys as Phil the Hydroponics guy, and appearing on the Comedy Network's
TV series Liocracy, starring the late Leslie Nielson.
Recent credits include: CBC's Diggstown, USA Network's, Falling Water and the role of Cabinet Minister Andre Bissonnette in Rhombus Media's comedic satire, "Mulroney -The Opera" directed by Larry Weinstein. John starred in the award winning short film, "Yakim" directed by P. Murphy. Yakim won best picture and was the official selection at the Air Canada Film Festival, Victoria and The Canadian International Film Festival.
John received his Bachelor of Arts(Honors) in Theatre and English Literature at Dalhousie University and King's College in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He continued his studies in acting for film at The Vancouver Film School Acting Program. John also enjoys screenwriting and directing and resides in Montreal.
