So far, Loki is the only Disney+ Marvel-based series to get a second season, but we're now hearing that a sophomore run for another popular show might be in the cards.
According to Daniel Richtman, a second season of Ms. Marvel is being discussed, but a final decision has not been made.
We have heard that Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) is being position as a major player in the MCU going forward, so a second season of her solo show would make sense. That said, Khan's big-screen debut, The Marvels, massively underperformed, which might well influence Marvel/Disney's decision.
Somewhat controversially for long-time fans of the character, Khan was revealed to be a mutant in the season 1 finale, ret-conning her Inhuman status from the comic books.
This new origin soon carried over to the page (though she also retains her Inhuman-ness), with Khan becoming the latest member of the X-Men,...

Exclusive: Rising comedian Paul Elia has set a Christmas Eve premiere date for his debut special, Detroit Player, the first ever shot at the Detroit House of Comedy, which came together over the course of three October tapings. Directed by Elia’s longtime friend Dan Ringey, with whom he previously collaborated on the indie crime thriller Dirty, the special will be available for a month on Mint Comedy.
Elia came to shoot his special after spending years performing stand-up in many unlikely (and awkward) scenarios, in order to pay his rent. He performed in a Dubai mall (and almost got arrested). Soon after, he performed at a private event for Saudi royalty. With Detroit Player, he explores authenticity, censorship and what it means to “hustle” (while avoiding arrests abroad).
Hailing from The LowKey Company & Avesta Entertainment, the special is produced by Bassem Youssef, Azhar Usman and Danny Mooney.

“Ms. Marvel”, a six-episode series, is the newest entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, also known as the MCU. Debuting on Disney+ on June 8th, the series is based on the very popular comic book of the same name. However, this series takes the story into a whole new and exciting frame. I was granted an early look at the first two episodes, and they were so intriguing I can’t wait to see what happens next. But more on that in a minute!
First, let’s set the scene to give you a feel for the show.
Marvel Studios’ “Ms. Marvel” introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero megafan with an oversized imagination—particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school...

"If you save one life... you save the world." Disney has debuted another new 60-second "Destiny" trailer for a new Marvel Studios series Ms. Marvel, a sort of spin-off from Captain Marvel, similar to the Hawkeye series about a nerdy fan of the Avengers who ends up becoming a superhero herself. Ms. Marvel introduces us to Kamala Khan, played by Iman Vellani, a 16-year-old Muslim Pakistani-American from Jersey City, NJ who writes superhero fan fiction. She discovers she has her own polymorphous (shape-shifting) powers. The series cast also includes Aramis Knight as "Red Dagger", Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Matt Lintz, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, and Azhar Usman. You know, I honestly think this looks pretty dang good. Like Hawkeye, I wasn't expecting to be into it, but I thoroughly enjoyed that series and there were a few outstanding episodes. Ms. Marvel might just be worth a watch,...

Muslim-Pakistani teen Kamala Khan hails from New Jersey, is an avid gamer with an overactive imagination, and a fervent scribe of fan-fiction. Oh, and she also happens to have some crazy superpowers of her own once after exposure to a mist turns her into a polymorph and gives her body the ability to stretch in almost any way possible. Welcome Marvel Studios’ first Muslim superhero lead to the screen with “Ms. Marvel,” the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe series, which hits the Disney+ arrival June 8. Watch the trailer below.
In the footage below, we see Kamala Khan try to attempt a balance of high school, family life, the general pangs of teenagehood, and, of course, her budding superpowers. Kamala is also a particularly huge fan of Captain Marvel (aka Carol Danvers), meaning that this series serves up the kind of pretzel twist meta-dom that’s typical in the MCU.
