Evette Washington was born in Monterey, California and lived in Seaside on the Monterey Peninsula. Evette is an American actress, writer and producer who is known for A Warrior's Soul (2023), General Hospital (1963), The Cat in the Hat (2003) and FCU: Fact Checkers Unit (2010). Evette has appeared in countless national commercial and print ads.
Her father is African American/Filipino (born in Japan) and worked as a guard and counselor at Soledad Prison. Her mother is African American (born in Louisiana) and worked as a photographer owning her own studio and dark room.
Evette fell in love with theatre and dance(ballet) while taking courses at Monterey Peninsula College when she was still in high school. She studied theatre at the University of Birmingham, England as well as UC Riverside where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre. Her deep desire for ballet along with her theatre training has been instrumental in her action projects and story telling.
Evette founded 831 Productions with the mission to develop and produce media for Film and Television with a variety of genres. Her focus and belief is that stories can expand the perspectives of women as well as help change the world they live in with purpose filled films and content.
