Daniel Dae Kim is the reason why Avatar: The Last Airbender feels like a serious series rather than a mundane fantasy one. With Netflix bringing out the big guns, Daniel Dae Kim has been cast in the role of Fire Lord Ozai in Avatar: The Last Airbender, and boy are we scared!
Boasting a serious look, Dae Kim is everything that a real-life Fire Lord Ozai would possess. From having an incredible body to the perfect hair, what makes Daniel Dae Kim’s Ozai even more charming is that the actor was inspired by real-life politicians to play the role of the tyrant in the Netflix series!

Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender was released earlier this year and opened to mixed responses. While the show was lauded for its casting and VFX, there were criticisms directed at the writing and quick pacing of the show. There have been no official confirmations about a second season, which would adapt the second season of the animated show, Book 2: Earth.
Many of the actors in the cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender seem to be excited for a second season, including actor Daniel Dae Kim. Dae Kim played the role of Fire Lord Ozai in the Netflix adaptation and mentioned that he would be intrigued to see the true madness of the character in season 2. However, he too was not entirely sure of a second season happening.

When Lost burst onto screens in 2004, it delivered compelling mysteries that delighted audiences.
According to a new book that delves into the behind-the-scenes drama, the set was anything but delightful.
Vanity Fair shared an excerpt of Maureen Ryan's upcoming book, Burn It Down.
While conducting interviews, Ryan said that "cruel, brutal, destructive, racist, sexist, bullying, angry, abusive and hostile" were some of the words she heard.
"When you have to go home and cry for an hour before you can see your kids because you have to excise all the stress you've been holding in, you're not going to write anything good after that," Monica Owusu-Breen, who worked on Lost Season 3, said.
She described the series as "the most 'nakedly hostile' work environment she'd ever experienced."
Harold Perrineau, who played Michael on the series, recalls realizing as Lost Season 1 played out:

Damon Lindelof says that he “failed” to provide safety and comfort as a co-creator of Lost, in response to a new book that in part chronicles numerous allegations of a “racist,” “sexist,” “hostile” and overall toxic workplace.
In an excerpt from a chapter of Maureen Ryan’s Burn It Down: Power, Complicity, and a Call for Change in Hollywood (preorder on Amazon or Walmart), cast members and writers from the iconic supernatural drama relay anecdotes that allege Lindelof and co-creator Carlton Cuse were indifferent, or worse, to complaints about storytelling that backburnered actors of color.

Yunjin Kim, Lost For the first time in the history of this show, Lost made me cry last night. I had a sneaking suspicion as to what was going to happen when Sun (Yunjin Kim) saw Jin (Daniel Dae Kim) walk by while delivering her baby, but I didn't want to believe it. I refused to accept what I knew was coming.
Perhaps I'm an idiot, because I didn't fully put it together until Hurley (Jorge Garcia) arrived. Lost got me. When Jin said he'd only been married for two months, I had no idea what was happening. Honestly, I thought, for some reason, after getting off the island, Sun and Jin split up and he got remarried. Either I'm that gullible, or the Lost writers have gotten that much better at deception.
