Averil Houston
- Additional Crew
Averil Houston was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and started off like most boys from Texas dreaming of
playing in the league, N.F.L. After playing football for two season and
being redshirted one he completed his college education without earning
a spot on any professional team. Averil's passion for acting was
ignited by one of his acting classmates at Sam Houston State. Then
Averil auditioned for the American Musical and Dramatic Academy(New
York) and won a regional scholarship. Instead of going to NY Averil,
moved to Los Angeles. Almost immediately he found everything that
Hollywood is made of; friendship, support, and theatre. True story,
Averil found these things in the Yetta Young Production of For Black
Boys Who Have Considered Homicide When The Streets Were Too Much.
Averil continues his pursuits but now he is focused on learning how to
produce.
