- Lee Wesley was born on August 4, 1977 in Dothan, Alabama, USA. He is an actor and writer, known for Power (2014), The Proposal (2009) and Blue Bloods (2010).
- Was 3rd in voting for Florida's "Mr. Football" in 1995. NFL star Daunte Culpepper won the award.
- After graduating college, coached football at Drake University.
- Played football and baseball at the University of Kentucky (1995-1999) on a full scholarship.
- Once played in a fast-pitch softball league on a team named 'The Jackson 5'. Team consisted of original 'The Jackson 5' members, Jackie, Jermaine, and Tito. The team also won the league championship.
- Lee had his idea for his award-winning short film, Hood Bruthas, one and a half years prior to the death of Trayvonn Martin. His initial plans were to shoot a 5-minute sketch on a flip camera. It wasn't until 2012, when Lee was watching the news and witnessed Representative Bobby Rush being kicked off of the House of Representatives floor for wearing a hoodie in support of Trayvonn, that he decided to write the short film. Since, Lee has also written a full-feature titled, "HOOD.".
