- Malcolm Dome was born in 1955 in London, England, UK. He was an actor and writer, known for Murder Music: Backstage (2007), Metal: A Headbanger's Journey (2005) and Asia: In Performance (2003). He died on October 29, 2021.
- Was involved in the horror film magazine Terror.
- Co-founded the UK's first rock radio station, TotalRock, along with Friday Rock Show DJ Tommy Vance and producer Tony Wilson. After 17 years with the station, Dome left in March 2014 to join Team Rock full-time.
- In 1981 he wrote "Encyclopedia Metallica" and followed it with many more books about bands such as AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and Metallica.
- Was a contributor to the DVDs Queen Under Review 1973-1980, Queen Under Review 1980-1991 and Music Milestones: Genesis's Duke.
- Starting in 1979 he was a music journalist covering rock and heavy metal for Record Mirror, Kerrang!, Metal Hammer, Classic Rock, Metal Fury, Metal Forces, Prog and Louder among others. In 1988 he was a founding member of RAW rock magazine.
- Thank goodness these major labels have back catalogues because without them they wouldn't exist anymore.
