On Sept 28th 2011 Lara Croft returns in her first non-Tomb Raider game for PS3, PC and Xbox 360.
According to Crystal Dynamics, the developer, the gameplay itself will have more in common with an RPG like Diablo II than the last Lara Croft game, Underworld. Instead of Lara's point of view, you'll see her and the other characters from a fixed standpoint.
Yes, there are other playable characters! Like the 2000 year-old hero named Totec, who joins Lara on a quest to foil his arch-enemy, and is described by gamePro magazine as being like the "'dark smokey' guy in Lost."
