Exclusive: Prime Video has greenlit The Money Game, a docuseries tracking the revolutionary impact of “name, image and likeness” (Nil) policies on college sports.
Campfire Studios, Axios Media, and Shaquille O’Neal’s Jersey Legends, a division of Authentic Studios, are producers on the project, which will stream exclusively on Prime. It follows a number of notable sports docuseries and doc features on Prime Video, including Coach Prime, an inside look at Colorado’s football program under Deion Sanders, and Kelce, about Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. On a broader level, sports has become a cornerstone of the Amazon-owned streaming service, notably NFL Thursday Night Football. That regular viewership for live sports provides opportunities for related shoulder programming.

The cast of the new comedy features an ensemble that includes Gina Rodriguez, Damon Wayans Jr., Joel Courtney, Augustus Prew, Liza Koshy, Ego Nwodim, Marin Hinkle and Tom Ellis. Exclusive: The murders of two members of a prominent family of South Carolina lawyers and the mysterious events that followed are to be explored in a multi-part doc series for HBO Max.
The streamer is developing Murdaugh Family Mysteries (w/t) with Campfire Studios, the company behind Hulu doc WeWork: Or the Making and Breaking of a $47B Unicorn.
The series will investigate the mysterious, still-unraveling events surrounding the murders of a mother and son from a prominent family of lawyers in small-town South Carolina.
On June 7, Alex Murdaugh found his 52-year-old wife, Maggie, and 22-year-old son, Paul, brutally murdered at their home in Islandton, Sc. Their killings spawning a media frenzy — both locally and nationally — due to the family’s reputation as a legal dynasty in the area.
In the months that have followed, while the case has gone cold, speculation has run rampant around potential connections, possible motivations and suspects.

Was Adam Neumann’s WeWork, one of the biggest and most exciting companies to completely flame out in recent years, just some sort of giant cult?
That’s one of the questions posed in the new Hulu documentary “WeWork: Or the Making and Breaking of a $47 Billion Unicorn.” The documentary film is one of several projects coming soon about WeWork, which provided shared, flexible work spaces for tech startups and became wildly overvalued before failing to go public, leading to founder and CEO Neumann to step down.
The documentary shows how Neumann was seen as a guru of sorts; an influential, hippie-messianic leader who convinced employees they were changing the world. That mentality, as the doc shows, led to overspending and lavish parties and lifestyles that ultimately led to the company’s disastrous crash.
“I believed every word that came out of Adam’s mouth,” one subject in the trailer says.
