When James Gunn & Peter Safran rebooted Dceu and renamed it into Dcu we knew that pretty much most of the cast would be replaced. Ben Affleck also made it quite clear that he is not interested in playing Batman further and Robert Pattison’s Batman was part of the Elseworlds, meaning that he was never canon to the primary cinematic universe.
Now with pretty much 99 % of ‘Superman’ cast, the rumors have it that Batman is the next in line to be cast, and we have three contenders who are practically begging to be cast.
1. Alan Ritchson
Ritchson wasn’t exactly coy about wanting to play Batman, he recently quite literally told us that he is willing to shout it from the rooftops. Ritchson has the physique (and the voice) to play him, and he has quite a large fanbase willing to petition for him. Ritchson said it would be quite...

DC movie comic adaptations currently have two live-action Batmans in play, Gunn’s upcoming ‘The Brave and the Bold’ and another project that spun off Dceu under the ‘Elseworlds’ label, Matt Reeve’s ‘The Batman’ played by Robert Pattison.
‘The Batman’ was intended to be only the first in a trilogy of movies and soon after the release ‘Tha Batman – Part II’ was announced. In December 2021, Robert Pattinson and Matt Reeves discussed ideas for future Batman films, including introducing Robin and featuring various villains like the Court of Owls. In April 2022, Warner Bros. announced the development of the next Batman film with Matt Reeves directing and Robert Pattinson starring.
Now recently news came that the movie will be delayed by an entire year. Instead of releasing in October 2025, the movie is expected to hit cinemas on October 2, 2026. Several reasons have been given for the delay but none has been officially confirmed,...

When it is iconic pairings we are talking about there are very few that are as legendary as Batman and the Batmobile. This dynamic duo is more than just a team. While many might initially think of Robin as Batman’s right-hand man, it’s the sleek, powerful Batmobile that truly completes the Caped Crusader’s arsenal. Together, they navigate every curveball thrown their way in style.
And although Robert Pattison’s Batmobile is amazing in its own right, a new concept art of the Batmobile has convinced fans to start a petition. They want to change the current Batmobile into this new and improved model designed by Frédéric Le Sciellour on Behance.
Robert Pattinson’s Batman This New and Improved Batmobile Could Totally Change the Game for Robert Pattinson’s Batman!
As it was established in The Batman, Robert Pattinson played a Bruce Wayne still early in his crime-fighting career.

The scrapped standalone Batman movie that Ben Affleck was set to direct and star in nearly a decade ago had all the potential in the world to be an exciting addition to the DC canon, per Jay Oliva, a veteran storyboard artist who consulted with Affleck and others on the project.
Affleck would’ve reprised his role as the Caped Crusader after inhabiting it for both Justice League and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but he departed the project six years ago for personal reasons. While Oliva couldn’t say “too much” in a new interview with Inverse about what this film would have been like if it had seen the light of day, he did reveal that “it was f*cking awesome. It was the best. It was amazing.”

It’s Timothée Chalamet Day in Venice.
This isn’t a national holiday, but perhaps it should be. It’s just past 1:30 p.m. outside the Venice Film Festival’s Sala Casino, and a crowd of youth have set aside work and school commitments to travel into the Lido to catch a glimpse of the American superstar arriving for a press conference.
Every generation has their movie star heartthrob — from Jonathan Taylor Thomas to Brad Pitt in the ’90s and Robert Pattison at the dawn of the Twilight movies. For many young women, Chalamet represents the pinnacle of Gen Z cool. The Chalamet stans arrived as early as 7 a.m. on Friday to catch a glance of Timothée. They are, not surprisingly, mostly female. They describe their favorite performances as “Call Me By Your Name” and “The King” but are mostly drawn to Chalamet because of his talent, and kind and friendly nature.

Profound Fart Work
August has been a whirlwind month of far-ranging films! Trace and I started with our first John Carpenter in the made-for-tv film Someone’s Watching Me!, then moved on to Clive Barker’s ambitious Nightbreed before jetting across the world to tackle Michele Soavi’s Giallo/Slasher film Stage Fright.
Now we’re back Stateside with Robert Eggers‘ inky black and white masterpiece: 2019’s The Lighthouse.
In the film, Robert Pattinson plays Winslow, a rookie lighthouse keeper partnered with an older – and more controlling – older man (Willem Dafoe) for a one month stint manning the titular instrument on a deserted island. Despite warnings to the contrary, Winslow kills a sea bird and the two men are swept up in a storm that seems to upend time (and maybe space?).
Oh, and there’s plenty of homoeroticism and farting!

The Safdie Brothers’ latest film “Good Time” is hitting theaters this weekend via A24 which means its star Robert Pattison is doing the press rounds. As the actor describes it, the crime drama derives from the “panic genre.” And indeed, it’s an electrifying piece of cinema full of sweaty terror and desperation centering on a low level criminal who robs a bank with his brother and then goes on the run for the rest of the movie.

They don’t make ’em like this any more, and the original TV spots for James Gray’s accurate retelling of history almost didn’t know how to sell it. Charlie Hunnam spends his life trying to solve a riddle of the Peruvian rainforest, in between fighting in WW1 and dealing with class prejudice. Yup, one could say the picture was filmed in a ‘classic’ style . . . can a show like that find an audience these days?

Edward Cullen could have been a totally different character had Robert Pattinson been fired during the first movie in the series.
The 31-year-old actor recently told the New York Times that his rebellious behavior almost got him the boot.

Pattinson said his time in the “Twilight” saga was “an amazing luxury.”
It was “amazing luck, as well, to just have fallen into it with the group of people I worked with on it,” he said, adding, “I didn’t have to kiss anybody’s [rear end] the entire time.”

The Personal Shopper star hosted SNL this weekend, which included a fun (albeit a bit nervous) opening monologue where some SNL castmates – Kate McKinnon and Aidy Bryant – tried to show Stewart that they were just as cool as she was by pretending to be stereotypical badasses.
"I'm too cool for school too, I don't even care about this show, "McKinnon said as she came out in tattered black clothes smoking a cigarette. "I don't even want to be on it, right? I just want to be like you, right? Sleep all day, party all night."
"Yeah, that's cool. That sounds cool," Stewart said, laughing. "I don't really do that, though. I worked on five movies last year."

Talk about a lucky bride! One woman had an extraspecial wedding day last week when she accidentally ran into Robert Pattinson at her reception. Reuben Skinner, the videographer at the wedding, took to Facebook to share a cute photo of the bride and her friends posing with the actor at her late August ceremony in Northern Ireland. "That moment when Robert Pattison featured in my wedding video. Weirdly Danny from the Script also crashed this same wedding. #rpats #weddingcrasher #robertpattison," he captioned the photo. One of the bride's friends also posted a photo of the encounter on Instagram. The actor, who also posed with a fan and his pal Charlie Hunnam earlier this Summer in Northern Ireland, may have gotten some inspiration from the nuptials. Robert is currently engaged to singer Fka Twigs, and the couple was last spotted looking loved-up during an outing in England in July. See the...

Chicago – There is a moral darkness in director David Cronenberg’s “Maps to the Stars” that is hard to shake. It is filled with circumstance and souls right at the edge of insanity, polluted by an atmosphere that doesn’t give them much of a chance. The apocalypse is now, and living in Los Angeles.

Julianne Moore is following up her Oscar winning turn in “Still Alice” with another memorable performance, this time as an aging and insecure movie star that has never found the proper nurturing in her life. The rest of the story includes charlatans, rejects, recovering addict child stars and hallucinations – just another day in L.A. There is no exit to these situations, and each of the characters are looking through the wrong end of the telescope. The film is a fascinating insight – the original screenplay is by Bruce Wagner – of lost connections and the resulting hopelessness,...

Dear Adam,
What does it say that we've both put off discussing the new Werner Herzog film? I must admit my profound disappointment at Herzog's first fictional feature film since his two-shot salvo of The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans and My Son, My Son, What Have You Done? in 2009 and certainly his most expansive drama for decades. With a cast of James Franco, Robert Pattison, and Damian Lewis led by Nicole Kidman, Queen of the Desert adapts the true saga of Gertrude Bell, an utterly unique woman who at the turn of the last century plunged into the deserts of the Middle East by herself and become better acquainted and more influential among its myriad tribes and factions than anyone else before and probably since.
Yet for a director so adept at discovering, eliciting and pursuing a kind of inspired mania and adventurousness in his fellow man,...

Well, the Berlin International Film Festival is quickly shaping up to have one of the best line-ups in recent history. Many films pundits had pegged for Cannes debuts are premiering in Germany instead. Yesterday, Werner Herzog’s much-anticipated “Queen Of The Desert” was announced as part of the festival, and today Anton Corbijn's equally anticipated “Life,” starring Dane DeHaan and Robert Pattison, was added to the festival as well. Other additions include the international premiere of “Selma,” the Helen Mirren picture “Woman In Gold,” co-starring Ryan Reynolds and Daniel Brühl, the Brian Wilson drama “Love & Mercy” starring Paul Dano and John Cusack as the famous Beach Boy at two different points in his life, and more. New additions below. Additions in the forum section are pretty notable too. Jem Cohen’s most recent film “Counting” tips its hat to the work of the late auteur Chris Marker and takes a personal,...

Looks like Robert Pattison isn't the only Brit who's experimenting with hair. One Direction's Zayn Malik stepped out last night to rehearse for the London Palladium for Royal Variety Performance with a noticeably different new 'do. The teen idol wore his brown locks in a shaggy, center-parted style and, well, we kind of dig it. Zayn usually goes for a tousled, side-swept look—vintage Justin Bieber hair, if you will. But this new hairdo seems to fit Zayn's features: Seriously, have those cheeks ever looked more chiseled? The star was all smiles while posing with his bandmates during rehearsal, and we noticed that some of the other guys are getting in on the hairplay too. Harry Styles wore his...
