Cancelled in 2015 after five seasons, last year, Cinemax and Sky revived the Strike Back TV show with a new cast. Although its Nielsen ratings were way off from those of the original series and downright microscopic overall, now it's back for a seventh season. How long can it cling to life? Will Strike Back be cancelled or renewed for season eight? Stay tuned. *Status update below.
A spy drama, Strike Back season seven stars Warren Brown, Daniel MacPherson, and Alin Sumarwata. New to the Cinemax cast this time out are Jamie Bamber and Yasemin Allen. "20/20" anchor Elizabeth Vargas hasn't had the easiest year. First she openly admitted she is an alcoholic, and now rumors are circling that her husband Marc Cohn had an affair while she was in rehab.
The rumor was first reported by Page Six, who says Cohn was involved with their mutual friend Ruth Zukerman, a Flywheel instructor. Representatives for Vargas, ABC News and Flywheel did not have comments, but Cohn issued his own response via a spokesperson to Daily Mail.
"I have no comment regarding vicious rumors about a so-called 'affair,'" the statement reportedly says. "I have encouraged and supported Elizabeth's recovery as her years of struggle have been hard on everyone. Out of deference to my family's privacy, I will not comment further."
