NBC and casting director Jamie Lynn Catrett are currently casting background actors for the network’s upcoming TV movie, “Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.” The television film, which premieres on the Peacock Network this holiday season, features direction by Stephen Herek and will star Jennifer Nettles and Ricky Schroder. The project is looking for actors who are “able to recreate a 1950’s look,” and hair must be “natural colors and conservative.” The shoot will take place July 15 in Atlanta, Georgia. Nearly 13 million viewers tuned in last year to “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors,” the first of several NBC TV movies based on country icon Dolly Parton’s life and songs. Now Parton and co. are back for round two with “Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love”! Jennifer Nettles and Ricky Schroder are back starring in the film from director Stephen Herek. “The film will deliver Christmas joy and peril as an unexpected blizzard threatens the Parton family,” its casting notice reads. “At the same time Dolly’s father (and his kids) make sacrifices to raise enough money to finally buy his loving wife the wedding ring he could never afford to give her.” Casting director Jamie Lynn Catrett is seeking young Atlanta, Georgia-based talent (Caucasian actors aged 6–9) to play school kids.
