Did you catch all of these Easter eggs and references in Short Trek Season 2 Episodes 4 & 5? Because we did!
This Short Treks article contains spoilers for Season 2's Episodes 4 and 5.
Though Star Trek: Picard can’t come fast enough for some Trekkies, 2019 is ending a very strong year of fantastic new adventures in the final frontier. We got a kick-ass Season 2 of Star Trek: Discovery, and this round of Short Treks has been not only fantastic, but also, extremely diverse in tone, structure and mood.
For the first time since 1976, Star Trek has returned to animated form with two new shorts; “The Girl Who Made the Stars” and “Ephraim and Dot.” Both new short episodes reference the larger canon of Star Trek, but not at all in the way you might expect. Both episodes are wildly different from each other, but also, different from anything Star Trek has ever tried.

What was Star Trek: Discovery up to, filming the start of Season 3 in Iceland? Actually, the more accurate question is, “When are they up to?”

With only three weeks left of work on Season 1 of Star Trek: Discovery and less time than that until the reboot’s premiere (Sunday, Sept. 24, on both CBS All Access and CBS), “I can honestly say I don’t think I’m nervous anymore,” leading lady Sonequa Martin-Green told TVLine’s Michael Ausiello at the Emmys Sunday. “I’m just excited. I’m ready to share it!”
In particular, the actress is eager for Trekkers to experience “the power of the story,” she said. “The fact that it builds on itself the way that it does, it’s so courageous.

As The Walking Dead season 7 finale approaches, who's going to bite the dust this time? Spoilers and speculation ahead...
This feature contains season seven spoilers.
See related Sarah Michelle Gellar hopes Buffy is out of the slaying game
Terrifyingly, we’re nearly at the end of yet another season of The Walking Dead, as it seems like only yesterday that speculation was rife as to which cast member’s contract had come to an end thanks to Negan’s baseball bat. Since the fateful events that night, season seven has slowly been building to a full blown war against The Saviors and everyone knows that war equals casualties. So as various characters embark on suicide missions, defect and come mentally unravelled, we thought it timely to look at who is most likely to fall in battle (or die like a dog), with little chance of making season eight.

While The Walker Stalkers host many Walking Dead conventions throughout the year, their biggest one takes place around Halloween in the state where the series is filmed: Georgia. This year’s Walker Stalker Con Atlanta will be brimming with special guests, including Rick Grimes himself, Andrew Lincoln.
Our friends at The Walker Stalkers recently announced that Andrew Lincoln, aka Rick Grimes, will be attending Walker Stalker Con Atlanta for one day only on Sunday, October 30th.
Lincoln is expected to take part in a panel and will also do photo-ops. Further details have yet to be revealed, but fans can expect panel seats and photo-op slots to quickly sell out once they become available to purchase.
This is a rare convention appearance for Lincoln, so fans of the actor and his work who live nearby (or even far away) will not want to miss this, especially since 100% of Lincoln’s...

We interviewed The Walking Dead actors Sonequa Martin-Green and Kenric Green about the second half of season 6...
Spoilers for anyone not up-to-date with The Walking Dead season 6.
As it so happens, unbeknownst to me until the interview took place, Sonequa Martin-Green (The Walking Dead’s Sasha) is married to one of Alexandria’s inhabitants in real life, Kenric Green, who plays the oft-wounded Scott. For this round table interview we had the pleasure of sitting down with both of them to gain an insight into their love of the show and the challenges it presents.
As season six draws to a close I’m actually more concerned for Sasha’s wellbeing than ever before, as if The Walking Dead has taught us one thing, it’s that being happy is a dangerous place to be. What makes the future for her and Abraham even more unlikely to be roses and sunsets,...

Later this month, The Walker Stalkers will hop the pond and bring The Walking Dead to England for the first ever Walker Stalker Con London, and the event's impressive guest lineup just got a very special addition: Andrew Lincoln.
Our friends at The Walker Stalkers recently announced that Andrew Lincoln, aka Rick Grimes, will be attending Walker Stalker London for one day only on Sunday, February 21st.
Lincoln will take part in a panel with fellow Walking Dead co-star Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) and will also do photo-ops. The seats for the panel (which will take place at 12:45pm GMT on February 21st), sold out earlier today, and fans can expect photo-op slots to quickly sell out once they become available to purchase.

It's abundantly clear that the residents of Alexandria on "The Walking Dead" are made of softer stuff than Rick and the rest of our original survivors, as time and again their ignorance about the outside world has been exposed and exploited. Like we saw with Carter in the season premiere, the majority of Alexandrians have no idea how to go about killing walkers on their own; hell, they didn't even have someone regularly patrolling their walls until Constable Rick made it a priority when he rolled into town. So as this season unfolds, it should come as no surprise that many Alexandrians will probably bite the dust, as they did in the Wolf bloodbath last week. What I didn't expect, however, was one of the most seasoned members of Rick's crew to fall victim to that same foolishness and naivete.
In a shocking twist that I honestly thought would never come,...

The stars of "The Walking Dead" get covered in blood, sweat and all sorts of nastiness on a daily basis ... all while running around in the Atlanta heat and doing some crazy stunt work to fight off a never-ending supply of zombies. Now imagine doing all that while pregnant!Sonequa Martin-Green -- who plays Sasha on the insanely popular AMC series -- is currently expecting her first child with husband Kenric Green, but she's not letting it slow her down. The actress' costar Chad L. Coleman tells us that she's still a total "badass" on set -- and, in a new interview with toofab's Brian Particelli, Sonequa says she's doing her best while sporting a very real baby bump."I surely am trying," she says. "It's been great, I've been very blessed. I've been able to stay right along with everybody and keep on doing what I'm doing. I'm really...

Sasha's headed for motherhood! Sonequa Martin-Green is pregnant and expecting her first child with actor husband Kenric Green, her rep confirms to Us Weekly. "Kenric and I are beyond excited," the Walking Dead actress tells Us in a statement. "There's nothing like running around fighting zombies in the Georgia heat to stay in shape while pregnant."
