Konstantinos Antonopoulos is a Greek filmmaker based in Athens. He studied computer science in Athens and received his MFA in filmmaking from Columbia University in New York.
While studying in the U.S. he directed several shorts such as the award-winning Without Glasses (2009) and Lea (2013). Back in Athens he co-wrote the feature film Symptom (Torino Film Festival 2015), edited the feature film My First Kiss and the People Involved (L.A. FIlm Festival 2016), and directed a number of documentary series for the TV and the web.
His short Postcards from the End of the World (2019) screened internationally and received awards at festivals such as Aspen Shortsfest, Winterthur Kurzfilmtage and Brussels Short Film Festival.
In 2019 he received the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Artist Fellowship Award and In 2022 he won the Production Award at the Torino Feature Lab with his feature in development: Glory B. He's a Berlinale Talents, Less Is More, First Films First and Oxbelly alumni.
His latest projects include the short film Unorthodox (2023) and the mini-series Saute (2023), both due to premiere in late 2023.
He believes in patience.
