Laal Kaptaan is an all-action power revenge film that released on 18th October. A strong cast led by Saif Ali Khan as the titled captain bring this powerful story by Navdeep Singh for Dusshera 2019 over 3 parts with all the ferocity that Dusshera demands. The film poster is just as much Dusshera with the familiar 10 heads being represented by Saif Ali Khan’s 10 angriest expressions. Backed by Colour Yellow and Eros International productions, it was a surprise to find a new up and coming music director and singer in Samira Koppikar. Nevertheless, having proved herself in NH10, also directed by Navdeep Singh, this choice should not be seen as anyone being cheap. The description of this album on YouTube provided by the Eros Now channel is “Dark, gory and melodious.”
The album begins with Kaal Kaal sung by Brijesh Shandilya and Dino James and at 4:14 is the longest song that...

Kangana Ranaut versus Rajkummar Rao in an epic murder plot produced under Balaji Motion pictures is the tag line to recently released film Judgementall Hai Kya. Two power actors, both of whom are able to hit new heights with every character they play, go the next level in this film written by Kanika Dhillon and directed by Prakash Kovelamudi. The music for this film presents a unique challenge: there is obsession, but there is no love and most certainly no love lost between the “hero” and “heroine”. So, a team led by Taniskh Bagchi and featuring Divine (from Gully Boy) come together to create 5 songs, to support this strange tale.
The album opens with Navv Inder and Lisa Mishra on The Wakhra Song. For those into Punjabi pop, this is a remake of the song the singers did with Baadshah but with a full-time club beat. Also, as a change-up,...

“The bravest battle ever fought” proclaims the poster of the new film Kesari. Described as an action-war film, this depicts the battle of Saragarhi in which 21 Sikh warriors fought 10,000 Afghans in 1897. And when you have Karan Johar, Anurag Singh, Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra already this feels like an epic. However, that puts more pressure on the music as all these individuals are known for great songs as part of their showcase reel. So Taniskh Bagchi leads an army of the finest young talent with Arko Pravo Mukherjee, Chirantan Bhatt, Jasbir Jassi, Gurmoh and Jasleen Royal all bringing their skills to this album.
Jasbir Jassi opens the album with the most fundamental of Sikh ideals, Ik Onkaar. This is a known religious tenet of Sikh religious philosophy so it must be treated with the upmost respect. Also being a basis of religious thought, its words must be very clear so...

The first single from the Spyder album ‘Boom Boom’ had become a big hit among fans of actor Mahesh Babu.
Now, yet another single ‘Haali Haali’ was released which has Mahesh Babu fans excited. However, some music buffs opine that the inclusion of too many Tamil words in the lyrics could have been avoided.
Nevertheless, the catchy tune is sure to get this single popular as it goes on the repeat mode. Composed by Harris Jayaraj, the ‘Haali Haali’ song has been rendered by Brijesh Shandilya and Harini.

The entire cast of Golmaal Again including Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Tabu and director Rohit Shetty flew to Hyderabad last week for the shoot.

The title track of a Rohit Shetty film needs to be larger than life and filled with colour and Rohit never disappoints. In fact, this time he’s added tons of confetti too!
Check out the shots!

After seeing the humorous trailer of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana as the ‘not-so-hot’ Mudit Sharma, and Bhumi Pednekar as the ‘not-so-cool’ Sugandha Joshi we were intrigued to see what they would come up with next. Well, now the makers of the quirky entertainer have unveiled the first song ‘Rocket Saiyyan’ from the movie.
Shubh Mangal Saavdhan takes you to the practical side of romance as Mudit and Sugandha enter into an awkward period between engagement and marriage.
Going by the movie theme, ‘Rocket Saiyyan’ is a quirky, foot tapping number which comes at a critical juncture in the film. It describes Sugandha’s point of view describing her ever anxious ‘Saiyan’ always in a hurry driving headlong into any situation like a rocket on fire. While Sugandha feels ignored as Mudit has taken it on his ego to solve the problem, Mudit assures her of his love.

25 June 2009. The biggest news story of the day was the death of Michael Jackson. Then began the fanzines remembering Michael as the great singer/songwriter he was. But who can ever forget the dance? The moves, the poses? So many have tried to emulate but Mj is still Mj. Sabbir Khan’s Munna Michael is an underdog story of dreams, passion, dance and most importantly the desire to bring Mj back to life on stage. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tiger Shroff and Nidhhi Agerwal play the lead actors and just like the combo, the album is exactly the sort of package we expect from the many music directors involved with the album. With Kumaar penning most of the lyrics, each singer, music director and lyricist involved has looked to remind Indian audiences of the magic that is Michael Jackson.
So, we must begin with an intro for Munna that would fit Mj.

Film: "Jai Ho"; Composers: Sajid-Wajid, Amal Malik and Devi Sri Prasad; Singers: Wajid, Shaan, Shreya Ghoshal, Shabab Sabri, Himesh Reshammiya, Keerthi Sagathia, Palak Muchhal, Altamash Faridi, Armaan Malik, Bhaven Dhanak, Brijesh Shandilya, Ujjayinee and Amal Malik; Rating **
Salman Khan-starrer "Jai Ho" is an action-drama directed by Sohail Khan. It is said to be the biggest opener of 2014. Only time will tell if the viewers hail the movie or not.
The album has nine tracks, including two remixes, but the composers' efforts are nothing to write home about.
The album starts with "Baki sab first class hai", sung by Wajid. The song is good and relatable, but it's more like a speech given during a rally - the only difference.
