Ronjini Chakraborty is a Bengali and Hindi film actor and model.
Chakraborty grew up in a Bengali family and did her schooling at La Martiniere Calcutta. She then graduated in History with honours from Lady Brabourne College, Kolkata.
Chakraborty joined Theatrecian, a theatre group in her college and performed in plays like No Exit, The Goat, The Lesson, etc.
Later, Chakraborty enrolled in the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII, Pune) to pursue an acting course.
In 2011, Chakraborty made her movie-acting debut through the Bengali film
At the End of It All (2011). She was also a part of Tears of
Nandigramer Chokher Pani (2014) and
Shesh Kotha (2017).
Upon moving to Mumbai, Chakraborty made her Hindi cinema debut with
From Sydney with Love (2012). Then, she went on to play roles in movies like
Autohead (2016),
Tumbbad (2018),
Simmba (2018), and
Article 15 (2019).
Apart from this, Chakraborty starred in sitcoms like
Paanch 5 Wrongs Make A Right (2013), short films like
