He told TV Guide that he was "nervous" and "emotional" when viewing the episode. Putvinski said: "I was kind of a little nervous about this one, because it's like, 'Ok, it's my last one'. But I actually got a little emotional, because I got over it a long time (more)...

The eight remaining designers on Project Runway worked to create an extravagant stage look for Christina Aguilera this week. Last week's winner Gordana Gehlhausen is the last contestant to be afforded immunity. Carol Hannah Whitfield, who hasn't won a challenge yet, thinks that her "slow and steady wins the race" approach will get her to Bryant Park. Klum informs the contestants that "it's time to take the competition to the next level", adding: "If you really want to shine, your look must upstage the rest." Gunn introduces famed designer Bob Mackie, on whose work the participants will be basing their looks. He tells them they need to "go for it", in terms of establishing a performer's presence, while Gunn then reveals the entertainer in question as Christina Aguilera. Nicolas Putvinski calls the task "by (more)...

The 11 remaining contestants on Project Runway worked to create a look inspired by a movie genre on Thursday night's episode. Irina Shabayeva, who won last week’s design challenge, said the competition was "getting stiffer" and "would like to win [immunity] again". Heidi Klum informed the participants that they would see what Los Angeles is "most known for... movie making". Tim Gunn greeted the designers at a film soundstage and told them about their task. "You will select a film genre and invent a character that lives in that genre," Gunn explained. They had five categories to choose from: action-adventure, film noir, science-fiction, period piece and western. Nicolas Putvinski hoped that he didn't receive the last group, saying: "Oh God! What if I get stuck with western?" Shirin Askari and Epperson (more)...

Warning, spoilers ahead! Read no further if you don't want to know what happened on last night's Project Runway.
Last week the designers were paired up and Ra'mon pulled out an unprecedented victory given that his hapless "team leader" Mitchell was sent packing.
Qristyl, who has been in the bottom two a lot, was spared yet another week. Nothing against the woman, but given her questionable personal style and lackluster performance to date, she's beginning to stick out like a sore thumb.
Back at the designer's apartments the guys commiserate over the team challenge, with Epperson complaining about how hard it was to work with Qristyl.
Look in the mirror buddy, you were clearly no slice of heaven yourself.
Nicolas Putvinski piles onto the Qristyl-bashing by throwing up his hands and pronouncing that they "really need to weed out the talentless people." Which is sorta rich considering he's one of them.
