Justin Skrakowski is a journalist who writes through a filter of blood
& guts and rock & roll. He thinks writing this about himself but
pretending he is not is weird but also kind of enjoys the freedom to
talk about himself with the freedom which comes from the pretending
like he isn't. He also moonlights in life-criticism and snobbery. His
work has appeared in countless magazines and online publications as
well as a collection of short stories entitled "Strongman" released in
2009. Since 2008 he has lived in New York and currently resides in
Greenwich Village with his partner Cori Marquis, a professional modern
dancer. Justin is working on a biography/documentary project on the
life of behind-the-scenes rock & roll legend Danny Fields with
filmmaker Brendan Toller, director of the award-winning documentary "I
Need That Record!: The Death (or Possible Survival!) of the Independent
Record Store". Justin likes French gangster flicks.
