The buzz around this year’s Stagecoach Festival, kicking off Friday in Indio, California, is among the loudest in the country music fest’s 16-year history. Tickets sold out in less than a month after going on sale last September — hitting that mark months before sister festival Coachella — and giving Stagecoach its biggest sales ever. Credit that to the current country music boom and to a stellar lineup put together by Stacy Vee, EVP of festival talent for Goldenvoice, the promoter behind Coachella and Stagecoach.

Country singer Miranda Lambert paused in the middle of a song during a show in Las Vegas on Sunday because a group of women took a photo. The “House That Built Me” singer went on to call out the group of women, letting the audience know they distracted her and were “pissing [her] off.” One woman in the photo has spoken out on the interaction.
Miranda Lambert paused her performance of ‘Tin Man’
The call out happened as the country singer was performing her ballad “Tin Man.” The artist suddenly stopped singing and let the audience know it was due to selfie-takers.
“I’m gonna stop right here for a second, I’m sorry,” Lambert told the audience at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino at Zappos Theater. “These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song.”
“It’s pissing me off a bit,” Lambert added, clearly annoyed.

Miranda Lambert’s first big break took place in 2003 when she was 19. She competed on a show called Nashville Star, and she finished in third place. Even though she didn’t win the competition, being on the show got her noticed by people in the music industry. And eventually, she got signed as a result. But even before she knew her fate in Nashville, Lambert was thankful she didn’t place first on the show. Here’s why.
Winners of ‘Nashville Star’ had to sing songs written by other people
Before Lambert went on Nashville Star, she’d already begun to sow the seeds of her career.
“I was writing songs and playing… I was playing bars in Texas for two and a half years before I even auditioned for Nashville Star,” she said on Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? On HBO and CNN. ”So I had made a little independent record.

Country singer Miranda Lambert’s new cookbook, Y’all Eat Yet?: Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen, came out on April 25, 2003. In addition to sharing recipes, Lambert also shares stories from her life. She calls it “a lifestyle book” rather than a straight cookbook. Here’s what the Palomino singer has to say about her latest project.
Miranda Lambert | Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic Miranda Lambert’s ‘Ya’ll Eat Yet?’ is part cookbook, part memoir
In a recent interview with “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? On HBO Max and CNN,” Lambert described her new book as “a lifestyle book.”
“It’s kind of a book about sisterhood, and stories of how I grew up and the women that surrounded me and kind of made me the woman I am today,” she said.
Lambert says it just made sense for her to include stories about her life and family in Ya’ll Eat Yet?...

Miranda Lambert knows a thing or two about country music awards. She has 38 ACM awards under her belt, including nine consecutive Female Artist of the Year awards. In a recent interview, she said she feels there’s a definite difference between country award shows and other kinds of award shows. That difference lies in how welcoming the people are. And she thinks it has something to do with the location.
Miranda Lambert | Kevin Winter/Getty Images Miranda Lambert on winning 38 ACM awards
Lambert has the most ACM awards out of anyone in the history of country music. And she’s pretty modest about it.
“I don’t know, it sounds really big when you say it like that,” she told Chris Wallace on “Who’s Talking To Chris Wallace?” On HBO Max and CNN when he pointed out the momentous achievement.
She says she’s “so thankful to the Nashville community” for continually recognizing her.

Bergamo (Italy), Nov 13 (Ians) Edin Dzeko struck a double as Inter Milan ended their Serie A engagements before the FIFA World Cup break the way they would have liked it — with a hard-fought 3-2 win against Atalanta.

Gasperini’s side went man-to-man all over the pitch, playing with a really high press. It was enough to prevent Inter from putting any kind of dangerous moves together, at least in the first 30 minutes.
In the opening period, Onana excelled,...
