With the massive success of Carrie (1976), telekinesis was quickly added to horror filmmakers’ arsenal as a new weapon to terrify audiences. The immense power of the film left some reticent to tackle the subject for fear of falling short; however Brian DePalma stepped up to the plate with The Fury (1978), and that same year fledgling Australian filmmaker Richard Franklin made Patrick, a suspenseful, darkly humorous tale of a nurse and the psychokinetically disposed comatose patient that loves her.
Released on its native soil October 1st, 1978, Patrick was bought up for distribution by over 30 countries after a successful screening at the Cannes Film Festival, easily earning back its $400,000 Aud budget (half of which was chipped in by the Australian Film Commission). More good news followed as Patrick was well received by critics, and rightly so – it’s a tense little beaut with an emphasis on character and scattered shocks throughout.

The moment Mentalist fans have been waiting for for six seasons has arrived. Will Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) and Teresa Lisbon's (Robin Tunney) professional partnership finally turn into something more on Sunday's season finale?
Well ... that's up to Lisbon to decide. Her options: Accompany new boyfriend Marcus Pike (Pedro Pascal) to Washington, D.C. and accept his marriage proposal, or stay behind with Jane, who hasn't exactly tried to sweep her off her feet.
"It's a big decision," Tunney tells TVGuide.com.

Gabriel Mann and Justin Hartley as Nolan and Patrick. Is it love or lust?
We feel for you, Nolan Ross.
First, you fall for a psycho, then a (gasp!) woman and now you’re involved with dreamy Patrick, son of Queen Bee Victoria Grayson. This being Revenge, it’s sure to be another bumpy romance!
Case in point, last week’s episode, where Patrick clunks Nolan over the head in order to steal something. In this Sunday’s episode, entitled “Hatred,” Patrick tries to make amends, but is Nolan in a forgiving mood?
TheBacklot was on the set for the shooting of Sunday’s “Hatred” episode and grabbed a few minutes with Gabriel Mann (Nolan) and Justin Hartley (Patrick) to break down what draws the men together and whether they’re really in love or just playing the Revenge game of manipulation.
TheBacklot: Talk to me about Nolan’s journey thus far.

Previously, On Reven8e.
This week, Jack is threatened and shirtless, Aidan is threatening and shirtless, and Nolan is … vulnerable.
Here are five highlights:
Hello Daddy
Poor Jack just can’t catch a break. He’s trying to get on with his life as a hot single dad, but is constantly being drowned in Emily‘s backwash. This week he makes tentative steps toward a social life again by accepting a date with FiFi LePew to be her Plus One for her big magazine launch.
Unfortunately, those plans are scuttled when he comes home to find Aidan waiting in the shadows with a warning. Conrad is on the warpath, and wants him gone. And what Conrad wants, Conrad gets. Shaken, he takes Baby Carl away to an … Endangered Infant Safe House? … he doesn’t specify, but he tells Emily that Carl will be gone until all of this Reven8e stuff is over with.

Answers from stars Robin Tunney, Owain Yeoman, Tim Kang and Ep Chris Long can be found after the jump.
