Loic Valmy

Award winning composer, Loic Valmy is born in France in 1972. After
starting his career as a songwriter and artistic director for the
majors of the music industry, he fell in love with Cinema and decided
to dedicate his life composing for films only. From 1995 to 2004, he
composed for several European productions, feature films, documentaries
and TV Series. In 2004, Loic moved to Australia with his wife and
started to compose for the Australian film industry. Among the films he
scored, 'The 4th Musketeer', 'World War II', 'A woman's Life', 'Girl
Clock', and more recently 'House of Cards', '2 Degrees' and the
environmental feature Documentary 'Rise of the Eco-Warrior'. For his
work, Loic has received several prizes and awards. In 2013, 3 films he
scored were selected for the Festival of Cannes and in December he
received the ASIN Award for Best Composer (QLD).
