- Mary Czerwinski graduated from Roosevelt University in Chicago with a bachelor's degree in Journalism.
- She is sometimes billed as "Televixen" for being the host of "TV on DVD" for DVD Geeks (2007-2009) and their radio show (2008-present). She interviews actors, writers, producers and genre experts for Roddenberry Entertainment and geek culture outlets such as Bif Bam Pow Wow! and CreationTV.
Her mother is of Norwegian and Finnish descent and her father is of Polish descent.
She is a Polynesian dancer. - Co-author of the book "Voices from the Chicago Grave" (2003) with collaborator Scott Markus. The book came out after Scott Markus directed a documentary called Voices from the Grave. A second edition of the book came out in the fall of 2008.
- She has a poetry book called "Elements of Change" published.
