"This is terrible! They've completely stolen our lives!" A perfect robo-couple on the run? Neon has revealed an official trailer for an indie sci-fi comedy called Robots, made by two comedy filmmakers named Casper Christensen (Klown) & Anthony Hines (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm). This has shown up out of nowhere with a quiet summer release, which is an early sign that it's not very good. As the title indicates, it's actually about androids - or two robots - who go off on their own adventure. Charles is a womanizer while Elaine is a gold digger. The duo learn to regain their humanity when forced to team up and pursue robot doubles of themselves. Starring Shailene Woodley x2 as Elaine, and Jack Whitehall x2 as Charles, Emanuela Postacchini, Chelsea Edmundson, and Richard Lippert. This looks super awkward and not as funny as it should, coming across as a made-for-tv movie more than an indie comedy.

Lonely slacker Jonathan is stuck working night shifts at a convenience store. When he goes on a blind date with a strange woman, his world suddenly begins to unravel in horrifying fashion. Plagued by paranoia, illness and nightmarish visions, he desperately searches the suburbs for the mysterious seductress. His friends and family believe he’s losing his mind, but he believes he’s the target of a sinister occult plot.
The Black String comes from director Brian Hanson, who also co-wrote the film with Richard Handley – who also stars in the film as Dr. Ronaldi. For both this is their first feature, with Handley having penned some shorts previously. However in the case of Hanson is his first film period.

Supernatural Evil Forces Terrorize Frankie Muniz in Trailer For The Horror Thriller The Black String
It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen Malcom in the Middle star Frankie Muniz star in anything, but he’s got a horror movie coming out called The Black String and we have a trailer to share with you for it!

"This is worse than poison." Lionsgate has debuted an official trailer for an indie paranoia horror-thriller titled The Black String, which first premiered at the Austin Film Festival last year and is finally getting a direct-to-dvd/VOD release this fall. This stars Frankie Muniz (remember him?) as a twenty-something drifter whose life is turned upside down after an "unexpected encounter with a mysterious woman." He's soon overcome by illness and nightmarish visions. His friends believe he is losing his mind, but Jonathan is convinced he's the target of something far more sinister. The cast includes Chelsea Edmundson, Blake Webb, Jackie Moore, Alexander Ward, Ravi Patel, Cullen Douglas, and Angie DeGrazia. This looks a bit like It Follows, but twisted into a nightmarish, infection horror thriller. Maybe it's freakish fun? Tagline: "He's Not the Only One Watching..." 14 Cameras is the follow-up to the 2015 film 13 Cameras. The original was well received by critics. Behind the walls, a man has set up a number of spy cameras. They record the family's every move and every intimate moment. When a camera is discovered, the family realize why this vacation felt too-good-to-be-true.

"It's a little early to be so paranoid, don't you think?" *full disclosure: an online screener of this film was provided by director William Kaufman. Director: William Kaufman. Writer: Chad Law. Cast: Johnny Strong, Lance Henriksen, Louis Mandylor and Chelsea Edmundson. Daylight's End is another collaboration between director William Kaufman (Sinners and Saints) and actor Johnny Strong. This time, events take place in a future world, where a devastating pandemic has turned the world into a haven for murderous cannibals. The film blends a number of genres, with action elements forefront. Meanwhile, Strong's score helps amplify the violent events onscreen. However, the film, admittedly, borrows from several films in the genre. Daylight's End is an exciting feature, in which the focus is on action and less on dramatic characterizations. The story begins with the character Rourke (Strong). Three years after a virus has decimated the world, Rourke is searching for revenge. He seeks the Alpha, a vampiric strongman. His hunt leads him into.

One of my favorite films of 2010 was William Kaufman's Sinners & Saints, a low-budget thriller with a great leading man (Johnny Strong) and brilliant action scenes. This year, Kaufman and Strong have teamed up for another movie called Daylight’s End and it has just had its World Premiere at the Dallas International Film Festival. Daylight’s End is set years after a mysterious plague turned people into blood-hungry creatures. A drifter (Johnny Strong) saves a young woman (Chelsea Edmundson) and joins her group of survivors who are desperately trying to defend themselves… The story is rather familiar but what set this film apart from the typical post-apocalyptic zombie movies are that the humans use powerful weapons while the creatures are fast and agile instead...

The flick is set to star Johnny Strong (Black Hawk Down, The Fast and the Furious, Sinners and Saints), Anderson Silva (Ufc Champion), Krzysztof Soszynski (Here Comes the Boom), Chelsea Edmundson (Killer Eye, Bloodsucka Jones), Louis Mandylor (Wrong Turn at Tahoe, Sinners and Saints), Gary Cairns (Hero Wanted, Black Butterflies, The Night Visitor), and Mark Hanson (Red, White & Blue, Sinners and Saints).
Shooting starts July 19th in Dallas, Texas.
Synopsis

Group of college aged girls messing around and having a good time while watching a cheesy horror movie have their fun disrupted when a piece of movie memorabilia comes to life and starts imitating the action in the very horror movie that they are watching.
On the surface this belated sequel to Killer Eye seems like it should have been successful. It's got gore, wonderfully cheesy special effects, babes and, of course, perfectly tasteless nudity. So where did it go wrong? Part of what made low grade horror films so memorable for the fans out there was an endearing quality that came across. It seemed like everyone involved really gave it there all and was passionate about making dumb, cheesy horror films. That's where this sequel goes wrong. It seems as...

'Killer Eye: Halloween Haunt' is the new b-movie horror from director Charles Band and his Full Moon production company. It's the follow-up to the David DeCoteau helmed 1999 horror comedy 'The Killer Eye' and it looks set to have just as much laughter, frights and gorgeous hot girls as its predecessor. 'Killer Eye: Halloween Haunt' stars the sexy Erica Rhodes as Jenna who gets her four fit friends to help turn an old mansion into a 'Halloween Haunt'. The hot foursome have some sexy fun and mistakenly let loose the rapey eyeball. The movie co-stars the voluptuous actress and model Olivia Alexander, the stunning Ariana Madix, Chelsea Edmundson and Lauren Furs. Check out Rhodes, Alexander and Madix as well as the cooky little trailer for the flick below!...
