Born in Vietnam, Tree Franklyn grew up traveling the world. She has
lived in Vietnam, Iran, Greece, Saudi Arabia, Italy and the United
States, and has visited countless other countries. Before she was old
enough to drive, she had already lived in 13 different cities across
the globe.
Eventually setting roots in the United States, Tree moved to Los Angeles in the early 90's and quickly branched out in the Entertainment Industry. She has worked with major studios such as Paramount Pictures, Disney and Nickelodeon and has written and produced supplemental animated tales and shorts for IMAX Large Format documentaries as well as associate produced numerous IMAX Large Format documentary DVDs, including Lost Worlds: Life in the Balance, narrated by Harrison Ford, Africa: The Serengeti, narrated by James Earl Jones and the award-winning Whales: An Unforgettable Journey, narrated by Patrick Stewart. Her voice can be found on several animated films, including the English language versions of the Japanese cult classics, Ultraman Gaia and Ultraman Tiga.
In 2003, she was invited to be on the judge's panel for the elite International Screenwriting Competition co-sponsored by Writer's Digest and the American Screenwriter's Association and served on the panel for two years until she was swept away in the Real Estate storm and landed 8,000 feet up in the mountains of Big Bear, CA, where she flipped properties for fun and profit. An avid rock climber and outdoor enthusiast, she fulfilled a lifelong goal by joining the Sheriff Department's Bear Valley Search and Rescue team.
In 2013, she discovered her passion for inspiring others to lead more fulfilling, empowered lives and set out on a journey away from the entertainment industry. She has since become a bestselling author, coach and founder of the Empathic Awakening Academy.
