Jack Clemons
During the Apollo Moon Program, Jack Clemons was an aerospace engineer
working in support of NASA's Manned Spacecraft Center (now the Johnson
Space Center) in Houston, Texas. He specialized in Apollo Command
Module re-entry planning and astronaut crew training and he supported
all Apollo flights from Apollo 8 through Apollo 14. He worked
side-by-side with NASA personnel during the rescue and safe return of
Apollo 13. Jack later worked on NASA's Space Shuttle Program, as well
as on the modernization of national Air Traffic Control Systems in both
the US and the United Kingdom. Jack is now a professional consultant, a
published fiction writer, and a public speaker.
