After learning about Late Sarabjit Singh’s killer gunned down in Pakistan, actor Randeep Hooda, who played his role in the 2016 biographical drama ‘Sarbjit’ said that karma does catch up even if through unknown men.
In what’s being considered an incident of targeted killing, unidentified gunmen on Sunday killed Amir Tanba, a key figure behind the killing of Sarabjit Singh in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Jail in 2013.
Amir Tanba was outside his residence at Islampura in Lahore when two unidentified motorcycle-borne gunmen opened fire, injuring him critically.
The killing of Amir Tanba is seen as a “revenge killing” done by hired killers.
Talking to Ians, an emotional Randeep said it’s all about Karma.
“While doing the Sarabjit biopic it was always a very tragic feeling that when things were on the verge of working out to extradite him to India and get him back home to his family...

Randeep Hooda: Activists will take to rap to spread message if an armed revolution takes place today
Actor Randeep Hooda recently unveiled the song ‘The Savarkar Rage’ from his upcoming movie ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar.’ According to him, if an armed revolution were to happen in contemporary times, rap would be the ideal genre for revolutionaries to convey their message.
‘The Savarkar Rage,’ described by Randeep as the film’s mood, was written, composed, and sung by urban street artist Sambata. The beat was created by Hruthic Kailas Katke (Khakiee), and the rap concludes with the proclamation “Savarkar Laya Kranti Ka Daur.”
Randeep expressed, “‘The Savarkar Rage’ encapsulates the film’s mood. If an armed revolution were to occur today, and revolutionaries had access to all available music, they would opt for rap to communicate their revolutionary ideas.”
He continued, “I listened to rap artistes from India and abroad and selected Sambata out of hundreds of rappers. I briefed Sambata about the film, and he beautifully captured Savarkar’s angst.
