- I'm not coming from a position of desperation or victimization. I couldn't handle the office world, so I went into porn. Girls with bad pasts don't grow up to graduate from college and get a job on Wall Street. I'm clearly an adult who had an education who chose this path.
- There's a lot to be done and I want to be a part of it. Porn is an inefficient market and it is not sleazy. It's a business like every business. There are a lot of frontiers that have yet to be explored. I'm not going to be the savior of porn, but I think I can make some noise.
- The movies I'm interested in making have better story lines than ,"Hi, I'm a nurse why don't you have sex with me?" My movie [Screwing Wall Street (2015)] has a much more interesting story line than typical porn. Instead of buying stocks, I'm having sex to have information to trade on. And I helped make the script more consistent with finance. For example, the script referred to junk bonds and I told them, "It's not the '80s. They have mortgage-backed securities now."
- Porn needs to do what Apple did and add value with the way porn is consumed. People still have free music with streaming sites like Pandora, but everyone has iTunes on their phone and everyone makes dollar impulse purchases. They are fast and convenient. Someone could go and buy all my scenes and store them in a library. There are people who would do that.
- [on her porn pseudonym] Alliteration, it's good for branding purposes. Veronica is the name of one of my favorite historical characters and Vain sounds nice with Veronica syllable wise and it fits because I'm a little bit cocky.
- [on why she decided to pursue a career in porn] I'm embracing something about myself that society told me that I couldn't embrace. And I'm going for something that I really want to do.
- Porn for the long haul, yes. I just screwed myself from doing any other kind of job. Obviously porn is what I wanted.
- [on deciding to pursue a career in porn] It was always something that was in the back of my mind. I used to always say actually that if I wasn't smart, I would do porn meaning I wouldn't do it because it wasn't financially viable to me. I figured I had to be this big business woman and do what society tells me to do. Then I [asked myself]. "Why did those two things have to be mutually exclusive"?. And that realization occurred in October [of 2014] and I started doing all this research into the industry and thinking about it as an actual option. Originally I was thinking of being an analyst in the industry somewhere, do something in porn maybe not as a porn actress. But then I thought, "I was a stripper for four years, men think I'm hot, I love sex, I've got this!". And a star was born, I guess.
- [on what she likes in a man] I like masculinity, and dominance, and decisiveness. And an overactive libido. Consciousness about his health and well-being. Both mentally and physically.
- [on how she was as a kid] I was always a rule breaker [and] somewhat of a troublemaker, but also really nerdy and studious. I was an only child.
