Director and Screenwriter born in Brazil, but raised in the United States, Alessandra is a native English speaker. Specializing in sports documentaries, with more than 20 years experience in the advertising and film industry, Alessandra has worked with great national and international directors.
With dozens of campaigns for renowned brands: Adidas, Netflix, Itaú, Brahma, Tim, Redbull, Powerade, Pepsi, Oppo, TLC, McDonalds and others.
The experience in documentaries began with campaigns for the World Cup in Brazil, in 2014. Then, projects for Redbull TV, culminating in the pinnacle of all sporting events, the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (2016). Coordinated four documentary teams for the OLYMPICS OFFICIAL FILM "DAYS OF TRUCE" directed by Breno Silveira.
Her career as a director officially began in 2019, when she accompanied Clube de Regatas do Flamengo in its historic year, co-directing a series for DAZN, which also turned into a feature film about the season.
The next projects were documentaries also dedicated to the sport. She directed, wrote and produced a feature film about Flamengo's epic Basketball season in 2021 when they won all the season's championships after the long break due to Covid-19.
Directed 3 episodes of the second season of a documentary series for the GNT and Canal Combate called "Women Who Fight" , which is about the challenges, victories and defeats of women fighters and the dreams of winning the much-desired world championship belt.
Is currently co-directing another sports series in 2023 and is writing another 2 projects for 2024 and 2025.
