- Giuseppe Basso is a professional of the movie industry in Italy with an excellent knowledge of tax credit mechanism and a solid and wide network. He has been the Chief Executive and General Manager of Cinecittà Studios in Rome from 2011 to 2017, hosting and serving tens of feature films and bringing back the international productions with a record in 2015. After the sale of the Studios to the Italian government in 2017 Giuseppe is working as an executive advisor for Istituto Luce and also moving into production assisting international companies to shoot in Italy. - In 2016 he hosted in Cinecittà Tarantino's The Hateful Height , at the presence of the director, cast and Ennio Morricone. The projection room was prepared in stage 5 in the studios, equipped with 888 seats a 21 meters wide screen for the 70mm projection. The Studios was also equipped with a set covered in snow. In the following 30 days of projection more than 28 thousand people assisted the projection.
- He was the first to open Cinecittà to visitors in on the 28th of April 2011, on the occasion of Cinecittà's 74th anniversary.
- Giuseppe is the creator and producer of Cinecittà Shows Off, the permanent exhibition that allow visitors to visit the dream factory.
