Adam Mort

Adam Mort was born in Bristol, England on the 17th June 1994. Raised as
a Catholic he attended Holy Family Catholic Primary School in Patchway,
Bristol. He attended an amateur dramatics theatre group from the age of
10, this is when is passion for acting and the arts flourished. After
leaving Primary he moved on to St. Bedes Catholic College, a very high
standard secondary school in Lawrence Weston, Bristol. He was awarded
many times for his drama and frequently performed at the annual prize
giving ceremony. After passing his GCSEs he studied a BTEC National
Diploma in Acting, at SWADA (South West Acadeny of Dramatic Arts) which
is at Filton College. Studying various practitioners, styles and
various themes around theatre, his love for the arts really started to
grow. During October of 2010 he starred in his first professional
acting role on television as an extra in CBBC's "The Sparticle
Mysteries", playing a heavy handed bouncer called Dim. At college he
performed in many shows, from Shakespeare to Mark Ravenhill, where is
knowledge started to grow. During his 2nd year at college he applied
for drama schools and universities around England and Wales. He managed
to secure a place at the credible East 15 Acting School in Essex, where
he will study a BA(Hons) In Acting and Contempory Theatre for September
2013. At the moment he is currently working, preparing himself for East
15.
