With its latest announcement, DigiTour Media is shouting “spring break!” The company known for producing live events that feature social media stars has announced the Spring Break tour, which will bring a group of digital media influencers to 28 cities in the Us.
As has been the case with some of DigiTour’s other recent events, the creators who will hit the road for Spring Break are a young, up-and-coming bunch who have medium-sized followings online. The most recognizable name within the lineup is Crawford Collins, who is known for making videos with his brother Chris and has 1.6 million followers on Vine. Joining him on the tour will be Mark Thomas, Loren Gray, Weston Koury, and the members of 5Quad, a fledgling online video “supergroup.”
The stars of Spring Break all appeared in a video introducing the tour. It can be found on DigiTour’s YouTube channel.

You couldn’t go very far this past weekend at the Pasadena Convention Center without hearing screaming fans. There, Fullscreen’s first-ever Intour live event took place on Saturday, September 13. At the debut event co-produced by Kevin Lyman of 4Fini, familiar talent from Fullscreen’s creative partners delivered a variety of performances, including musical performances, comedic sketches, and interactive acts. Headlined by Jack & Jack, the roster of musicians included Sam Tsui, Charity Vance, Fresh Big Mouf, and Ricky Dillon. An attendee managed to get Dillon’s performance of his new single “Nobody” on camera: Other new media stars graced the stage with some crowd-pleasing variety sketches (apparently Jc Caylen poured a bucket of water over Dylan Dauzat’s head). Participating YouTubers included Connor Franta, JennXPenn, Caylen, Dauzat, Luke Korns, and Lohanthony, while Viners included AlxJames, Brent Rivera, Chris Collins, and Crawford Collins. All together, the celebrities featured during this year...

BBC Two has ordered Legacy, a one-off movie that will slot into its Cold War Moment block. Written by Paula Milne and directed by Pete Travis, the spy thriller reteams the duo whose 2009 apartheid drama Endgame won a Peabody Award. Boardwalk Empire‘s Charlie Cox, The Hour‘s Romola Garai, Sherlock‘s Andrew Scott and My Week With Marilyn‘s Simon Russell Beale are starring in the film that’s based on Alan Judd’s 2001 book. The story is set in 1970s London during the height of the Cold War when a young spy discovers the disturbing truth about his father’s complex past. Travis directed last year’s Dredd and scripted Sean Penn-starrer The Gunman. Crawford Collins, Milne and Judd are exec producing Legacy for Slim Film + Television; Lucy Richer is exec producer for the BBC and Rob Bullock is producer.
