Moisés was born in Oviedo, in the north of Spain, in May 1981, where he
studied Humanities High School and where he commenced a Bachelor degree
in History, studies that he is currently undergoing in the UNED
(National University of Distance Learning). In the following 5 years
(from 2000 to 2005) Moises has been working on movie theatres, employed
by the company Yelmo Cinemas (the largest Spanish multiplex company).
He has been in charge of the management of Vitoria's and Oviedo's
cinemas, and in this last one he was responsible for the IMAX theater
(pioneer at the time on Spanish multiplex cinemas). On 2005 he moved to
Madrid to become a public administration officer and he started a
Master on Film direction in the "Metropolis CE School" directed by
Guillermo Fernández Groizard (2007-2009). He participate in many
different workshops in cooperation with two important film directors,
Eduardo Milewicz (Argentinean), Sergio Cabrera (Colombian) and Enrique
Urbizu (Spanish). He also joined an independent distribution workshop
in LA lead by Jerome Courshon.
On 2010 Moisés created with his partner Daniel Fenaux "Festhome Ltd." based on London (UK). Festhone is an online global submission platform that allows filmmakers to submit their short films to festivals in a secure and immediate way. It is one of the first in the world to facilitate this.
Moisés is co-founder and Executive Director of Festhome Ltd, roles that combine with a marketing And communication role. Moises is currently living between London and Barcelona. He loves Spanish and Iberoamerican cinema.
