Shirley Cushmeer

Shirley Cushmeer was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. In
her childhood years, she'd always had passion for acting. She moved to
Minnesota and enrolled at Minnesota Community and Technical College to
study Theatre Arts. There she got her first break in the play, Animal
Farm. She later had taken a private class of Sandra Horner, the founder
of The Performance Studio, and learned the Meisner-Method Techniques.
She successfully performed at the 60th production Wide Variety Theatre
in an one act play at the Illusion Theatre and the Complex Theatre in
Los Angeles, Hollywood. Shirley Cushmeer has always been inspired by
the legendary actress, Cicely Tyson.
