- Bonda Mani was born on September 19, 1963 in Mannar District, Northern Province, Ceylon. He was an actor, known for Mazhai (2005), Velayudham (2011) and Manikanda (2007). He died on December 23, 2023 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

- Film producer Ishari K. Ganesh reportedly told Bonda Mani to undergo operations and dialysis and also told him to not worry about the medical expenses. He also received financial support from prominent actors including Vijay Sethupathi, Rajnikanth, Dhanush and Samuthira.
- He made a comeback return to television with a fully-fledged role in Enga Veetu Meenakshi (2021) where he played the role of a snake charmer.
- He was known for his one-line dialogues in films he acted.
