Andrew Martin Hogsten was born and raised in Tampa, Florida where his
grandfather owned a local video production company that operated much
throughout the 80's and early 90's. In his youth he assisted on several
commercials produced for the local sheriff's department. Later, while
attending Hillsborough High School he single handedly rebuilt their
television production studio and contributed to a project which won a
$10,000 grant for the purchase of new equipment. It was because of
these efforts that Andrew was awarded "T.V. Production Student of the
Year, 2006". In that same year he was also selected to attend the the
82nd Annual Scholastic Convention at Columbia University. Since his
graduation he has refined his craft with work on both web series' such
as Apocalypse Boyz and short films like Dirty Rose. His short film
Round SIx was an official selection of the Reel Terror Film Festival in
2011. Andrew writes and directs original content for The Morning Brew
sketch comedy app with Scatter Brothers Productions. He is also
involved with 3rd Herd Films and their multimedia adaptation of the
sci-fi book series Starfist.
