To mark its launch, beginning on ITV on March 24 – we had the pleasure in speaking to both its creator, and three of its leading stars. Below you can watch our full interview with Wunmi Mosaku, Jo Hartley, Arian Nik & Andrew Buchan, as we discuss the tonality of the series, their karaoke songs – and drinking tea.

Warning: binge-watchers only. Contains major spoilers for ITV1’s Passenger.
As Passenger’s Riya (Wunmi Mosaku) says in her 40th birthday party speech at The Dog and Duck, life hasn’t gone quite as she’d hoped. Five years ago, Riya left her job and spacious city apartment to move in with her husband and his mother-in-law in the remote Lancashire town of Chadder Vale, where the most exciting crimes to investigate involve stolen wheelie bins. Her husband soon legged it to Spain with his mum Sue’s carer, leaving Riya alone in a tiny terraced house to look after Sue.
Sue Goodheart (Clare Burt) isn’t well. She’s paranoid and hallucinates, phones Riya roughly 20 times a day, and has to be administered specialist medication for her degenerative condition. But as the Passenger finale shows in the briefest of blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments, there’s a very good reason for all that.

If you go down to the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise … and if those woods happen to be in Chadder Vale, the fictional Northern setting for genre-crossing ITV mystery Passenger, that surprise may well be the end of you.
It was certainly the end of Mehmet, a Chadder Vale youngster lured in to the town’s deadly secret. It was very nearly the end of his pals John and Katie, and who knows how many others have fallen foul of The Pangaea Initiative’s strange experiment over the years?
With major spoilers for the Passenger finale, and more questions than there are stolen recycling bins in Tony’s lock-up, let’s pick apart what we know about this conspiracy.
What’s Going on at the Bread Factory?
In the tunnels underneath it, deadly live-action game “Passenger” is being operated...

Twin Peaks. Sunnydale. Castle Rock. Hawkins… America’s TV monopoly on small towns where Weird Stuff Happens has gone on for too long. Britain was once home to The Wicker Man, Children of the Stones and The Prisoner, all classics of the ‘something’s not right here’ genre. Isn’t it about time the UK put a few creepy burgs back on the map?
Actor and debut screenwriter Andrew Buchan must think so, and his answer is ITV’s Passenger – a six-episode mystery series that’s Happy Valley meets…well, no spoilers here. Comedic and sinister with a terrific cast led by Loki’s Wunmi Mosaku, Passenger, from the producers of Gangs of London and Chernobyl, is a top binge-watch that’ll keep you entertained and guessing – hopefully into a second series and beyond.

Mumbai, April 4 (Ians) Actress Riya Sharma, who is currently seen playing the character of 17th century princess Tarapriya in the show ‘Dhruv Tara’, has shared that she went through a no-work phase which took a toll on her health due to her habit of overthinking about her future.
Riya said: “Every actor goes through a ‘non-working’ phase which is in-between projects and it’s a period of anxiety. I went through this time when my show ‘Pinjara Khubsurti Ka’ wrapped up. I had no work to do at that time, and for an actor, who works for 11-12 hours a day, it’s difficult to pass through this phase.”
“I am a workaholic, so the main challenge for me was the wait between the two projects. Sitting at home feels good for one day, it feels good for two days, but when you are sitting for months, it doesn’t feel good,...
