Iron Maiden and Z2 Comics have announced a graphic novel based on the band’s Piece of Mind album, arriving November 21st. Below you can get an exclusive first look at the special alternate cover featuring Eddie as “The Trooper” and its accompanying collector’s card.
The graphic novel celebrates the 40th anniversary of the legendary 1983 album, which contains all-time Maiden classics such as “Where Eagles Dare,” “Die with Your Boots On,” and “The Trooper.”
With a solid track record of heavy metal collaborations with Anthrax, King Diamond, and more, Z2 Comics pulled out all the stops for Iron Maiden: Piece of Mind. As Southern California continues to be engulfed by a series of wildfires that have forced the mandatory evacuation of thousands, celebrities are leaving their multimillion-dollar homes to seek safety.
Since Monday, at least 180 structures have been destroyed by raging wildfires across Los Angeles and Ventura County. More than 65,000 acres have burned so far, and L.A.’s notoriously traffic-dense freeways have been clogged with cars as residents evacuate and city officials close routes due to the proximity of the flames. During a Fifth Harmony concert at Luna Park Stadium in Buenos Aires, singer and Power Rangers star Becky G was removed from the stage by security guards when she tried helping one of the group members Dinah Jane Hansen out with a wardrobe malfunction. Awkward.

'Hounds of Love'.
Writer-director Ben Young is back in Australia for a short break and Q&A screenings of his debut feature 'Hounds of Love' after wrapping principal photography in Serbia on Universal.s sci-fi feature 'Extinction', which stars Michael Peña and Lizzy Caplan. If puts some questions to him.
Hounds of Love has had rave reviews since the premiere at the Venice Film Festival and has been invited to screen at 30 film festivals around the world. But the film is only playing on six screens here and has grossed about $130,000. .Were you hoping for more or is that the best you could expect with a limited release?
It.s done very well on a per-screen average but the disappointing thing is that it is not an easy film to find. People read a review or they see a media spot on TV and think they would like to see it and they look at the big cinemas. websites and it.s not there so they forget about it. It.s pretty much what I expected. Australian films don.t have a tradition of doing incredibly well in their own country, which is a shame.
Congratulations on the Awgie Award nomination for best original feature film. You are up against Hacksaw Ridge. How do you rate your chances?
If I was a betting man I think it would be about 1,000 to one against me..
Sometimes the underdog gets up, so the odds may not be that long.
I have seen Hacksaw Ridge and it.s a very fine film. Just to be nominated against that is a huge honour and privilege.
You wrote the role of the female lead in Hounds of Love for Emma Booth but she turned it down and then only accepted at the very last minute. What happened?
I wasn.t very happy about that because Emma has been one of my best friends for about 20 years. Her agent talked her around but by then we had a list of great people we were considering so we asked her to test for it and she genuinely won it.
Playing a serial killer was quite a departure for Stephen Curry, who is one of Australia.s funniest actors. Why him?
One of my favourite films is One Hour Photo where Robin Williams takes a very dark turn. It is so much creepier in so many ways when a comedic actor makes a dark choice. It made a lot of sense because I had one big doubt, .What if the audience doesn.t buy that Vicki (Ashleigh Cummings) gets in the car with this couple?. So I thought who in Australia would not get into a car with Stephen Curry?
The violence in the film prompted some walk-outs. You expected that?
I knew some people would react. I saw Snowtown in a general session and some people walked out. In some ways what we suggested was even more confronting. If you don.t know what it is before you buy the ticket that.s a bit strange.
You just finished shooting Extinction, the saga of a guy who tries to save his family from an alien invasion. .How did you get the gig?
The day after the Venice premiere my phone exploded. I ended up with a fantastic agent in UTA and management in La in Thruline. .UTA organised two or three private screenings to which they invited Hollywood big wigs. I got a bunch of offers and Extinction was one of the scripts in which I saw the most potential. The producers liked where I wanted to take the draft and I did have some dramatic ideas about the changes I was fairly insistent would happen. We were all on the same page and it all happened really quickly.
How did you handle the transition from an ultra-low budget Australian film to a studio feature which cost $US20 million?
The filmmaking process is exactly the same but it.s just a lot bigger. There are nine producers and there were more assistants on the set than the entire crew of Hounds of Love. You are a lot more supported because they have a lot more money. .The biggest learning curve for me was that it is not my film. It is a product that I am being employed to make with the idea of making someone some money one day. It felt somewhere between directing Hounds of Love and directing a television commercial. Dealing with the studio was a lot easier than I expected..
But you got your own way on the film you wanted to make?
It.s 90 per cent there. There were some things they would not let me do but that was fine and there were other things they did let me do. I was working with really smart producers who had strong arguments as to why. .But we did have a three and a half hour phone call about whether Michael Peña should have his sleeves rolled up or down. That.s the nature of working in America.
You will do post on Extinction in L.A. Is that your base now?
I have a two-year visa so I will be there until Christmas but I will definitely be back for Christmas. There is a film I want to do with an Australian production company in Victoria next year. .I am talking to a big American company about a one-for-you, one-for-me deal where they would finance a smaller idea of mine if I did a bigger idea of theirs. .It.s a matter of going wherever the people I can work with are. I have to hope that people continue to want to work with me. It can all happen for you overnight and go away overnight. .

The 2017 Academy Awards ceremony was a largely apolitical affair, but Gael Garcia Bernal changed that. Co-presenting the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film, he acknowledged the current tension with the Trump Administration over immigration issues, specifically as they pertained to Mexico. “As a Mexican, as a migrant worker, as a human being, I’m against any form of wall that separates us,” he said.

Yana: I think, like Monty said, it's not always about making the list. For him at least, it was about the way that the list was made. He didn't think he deserved to be on there anyway, but he didn't like the lying that...

The Grounder-Sky People coaliton has fallen apart once again on The 100 Season 4 Episode 4. But, hey – what else is new?
There were plenty of intriguing parallels and plot developments throughout "A Lie Guarded." But what I liked best were the opportunities for several of the cast members to really stretch their acting chops.
I'm referring, of course, to Octavia's "death" and Bellamy's reaction to it.
"Skairippa" appeared to have been killed during a scuffle with Echo. "Scuffle" might be too light of a word – what actually happened is that Echo and Roan effectively dismantled the coalition after discovering that Skaikru was fortifying Arkadia and that they had Luna (a Nightblood).
I predicted in my reviews of The 100 Season 4 Episode 2 and The 100 Season 4 Episode 3 that Echo's decision to investigate Arkadia and Octavia's lie about the chip's destruction would come back to cause issues. I didn't think it would be this soon.

Clarke and Bellamy set out on a humanity-saving mission with Jaha that was ultimately a failure, while Abby worked to save Luna and the other radiation-sickened grounders on The 100 Season 4 Episode 3.

What did you think of the twist that Gaia is Indra's estranged daughter?
Yana: I think I was actually hearing whispers of this before the big reveal, so I was expecting it. But I love watching Indra and Gaia.

It’s a weird time to be at a film festival. If sitting in the dark to watch a movie for two hours can feel a lot like burying your head in the sand, then devoting 10 days to doing nothing else can feel a lot like blinding yourself just so you don’t have to see what’s going on outside.
But Diego Luna doesn’t see it that way. The “Rogue One” star is deeply concerned about the state of things, but he insists that going to a festival — particularly one that gathers together artists from dozens upon dozens of countries around the world — can be an even more invaluable experience during times of crisis. So when the Berlin International Film Festival — aka the Berlinale — invited him to serve on the Competition jury at this year’s fest, Luna couldn’t have been happier to accept.

The 31-year-old model sat down with Et on Thursday to talk about her steamy new Sports Illustrated photo shoot alongside the magazine's swimsuit issue director, Mj Day, and opened up about how her attitude about her weight has changed since welcoming daughter Luna last April.
"Honestly, I was so stuck on the scale game," Teigen admits to Et's Jennifer Peros about her old habits. "Like, I was the kind of person that was, you know, pre-baby, I weighed myself like three times a day. I knew how much I weighed at 8 a.m., and I knew how much I was supposed to weigh at 1 p.m., and I knew how much I was supposed to weigh at 8 p.m."

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit vet Chrissy Teigen was back to the beach last week — but this time, she wasn’t in a bikini.

Nxt is in the books for another week. They’re building up to their quarterly event Nxt Takeover: San Antonio. We also saw an offer from Eric Young of Sanity to Tye Dillenger. How did this show hold up?
I have to say I am enjoying the Sanity stable led by former Tna star Eric Young. It’s a perfect use for him. Eric is not going to be someone who will go after a major championship in the WWE. That is not a knock against him by any means because not many people get the call to be the top guy. But what he is great at is being a teacher. He can be the veteran who...

While 2016 was marked by outspoken activists and powerful moments of protest and progress in a wide array of arenas, many women used their passion, talent and determination to make their voice heard above the din. Here's a look at 16 women who stirred inspiration and changed the tone of public discourse (in no particular order).

All through the “Rogue One” press tour, Diego Luna has expressed how appreciative and grateful he is to be a part of such a huge franchise. The Mexican actor portrays Captain Cassian Andor, an intelligence officer for the Rebel Alliance who, alongside Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), leads a diverse group on a mission to steal the Death Star plans.
As Remezcla writer Yara Simón wrote in her piece, “This Is Why Diego Luna’s Role in ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Is Historic for Latino Actors,” Mexico or Latinos may not exist in the “Star Wars” universe, but it’s inspiring to see a Latino actor take on a huge role.

Is there any better match for the superhero than the origin story? Well, maybe capes, but those are overrated (and as we all learned in The Incredibles, can be the tragic undoing of even the most powerful among us).
Sometimes origin stories can feel unnecessary – after all, a little mystery can be a good thing – or repetitive – there are only so many times we need to watch Bruce Wayne's parents die – but when done well, they can be the ideal way to keep audiences connected to the human side of superhumans.
Origin stories remind us of what superheroes were they were like when they were, well, just like us.
On Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 Episode 6, we were treated to a standout origin story. And while Ghost Rider may not be a stereotypical superhero (in that he is obviously far more cursed than blessed by his abilities), it didn't dilute the...

Prison riots, blackmail and vengeance – oh my! The latest installment of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s shenanigans with Ghost Rider was definitely the best so far this season. Not only was it packed with action as per usual, but many of the show's storylines actually moved forward!
On Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 Episode 5, the majority of the S.H.I.E.L.D. team is preoccupied with a mission at the secure prison where Robbie's Uncle Eli is being kept. Since the mission involves a member of his own family, Robbie insists on coming along -- though some members of the team, primarily Mack, are not enthusiastic about the idea.
Pretty much the entire episode takes place in the prison, which means we're treated to an awesome prison riot scene straight of out an old-school grindhouse movie...if grindhouse movies had to abide by network television's rules and regulations for violence.

It is always nice to discover original scripts in the anime world, and “Gate” provided an excellent “what if?” story, and managed to follow it to the end.

Há Terra!I want to apologize for providing this Wavelengths avant-garde preview a little later than I might've liked. Hell, given that it's been over a week since movies died, I'm not exactly sure how much more kindling I can chuck onto the pyre. But I should remark that compared with previous years' iterations of the Tiff Wavelengths series, 2016 does feel a bit...off. I'm chiefly referring to the experimental short films here. But I do feel that the disparity this year between the truly exceptional films and the mediocre-to-not-very-good ones is markedly high.I enjoy films, and more than this, I enjoy enjoying them. I hardly get my kicks by being a nattering nabob of negativity. But programmers have to work with what is available to them,...

We have to say, Maluma is one of our favorites, and this is one of the reasons why. The singer had a tough time in Buenos Aires this weekend. He was faced with every performer's nightmare...having to cancel a concert. This decision was out of the Colombian hunk's hands as his venue the Estadio Luna Park was shut down due to insufficient permits. Fans were informed of the canceled show only an hour before Maluma was set to perform. Ouch. The news didn't set well with the thousands of screaming fans that were eagerly waiting to see the 22-year-old singer. Maluma then hit the streets and surprised his fans with a little impromptu concert. "If we can't sing at Luna Park, then we'll...

Showing some serious love to her faithful fans, Chrissy Teigen just unveiled the first snapshot of her adorable daughter Luna Simone, just five days after giving birth.
The “Lip Sync Battle” babe took to her Instagram account to post the photograph, and she even added the caption, “Hi my lulu!” Chrissy’s mom Vilailuck Teigen also shared, “Lulu and me.”
Back in March, Teigen told People, “I am conscious of what people want to see and what they don’t want to see, or what they see through completely. We’re not going to go out of our way to hide because obviously it’s such a big part of our lives to show everything: the inside of our homes, my parents living with us, our animals, everything. I’m not going to do sneaky back shots of her or anything.”...
