Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Graduated in 1972 from UPR University of Puerto Rico - Mayaguez Campus, majoring in broadcasting and communication. In 1975, obtained a BD from UPR -Rio Piedras campus in marketing and advertising.
Tito began his broadcasting career at PBS Studios in New York, working on the Sesame Street Show. He continued as a contracted voice-over actor for HBO Latino, serving as the official Spanish language voice talent for station promos, documentaries, and special programming.
In 1978, Tito moved to Hollywood, California, continuing his broadcasting career with several major Spanish language stations, including KLVE-FM, KALI-Radio, KWKW-AM, Radio America, and KMEX - TV Channel 34.
In 1979, Tito joined forces with the CEO of Columbia School of Broadcasting, Bill Brock, to create the first Spanish language broadcasting school in the US, named "Latino Americana Escuela Internacional de Locucion" in Hollywood, CA.
In 1980, Tito partnered with an advertising professional from Argentina to establish a cooperative marketing program for attorneys known as "Centro de Proteccion Legal." This program became one of the most influential legal rights awareness initiatives among Hispanics in California (1981-1996). CPL was widely recognized by its institutional advertising phone number in CA, 222-2222 (in all area codes). Tito and his partner sold the company in 1996, and he dedicated his career to the voice-over advertising industry.
From 1998 to 2008, Tito was represented by William Morris. During this decade, he recorded over 50 national brand spots, nearly 100 movie trailers, and national promos for HBO Latino, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, CNN Español, and other national Spanish language channels.
Tito's recent contracts include being the official Spanish language voice for iconic characters such as Darth Vader (Star Wars), Schreder (Ninja Turtles), and Count Dracula (Sesame Street).
In 2020, Tito authored his first book in Spanish about broadcasting, titled "La Locucion Moderna" (Modern Broadcasting). The book is available on Amazon Books, and its recorded audio book version is now accessible on Audible.
One of Tito's areas of community affairs interest is providing the Hispanic population in the USA with as much information as possible via broadcasting and social media, regarding the public awareness of the legal rights of the Hispanic workforce in the United States.
Since 2018, Tito and his partner and son, Dantonia Alvarez (PGA Director), revived the name Centro de Proteccion Legal to shed more light on legal rights awareness among injured Hispanic victims in California. CPL now connects Hispanics seeking reliable legal representation with top-notch CA-awarded attorneys.
