Emma Zarobyan (EmMusic) is a multi-genre composer, sound engineer and
professional pianist actively working in radio, television and film
industries. Emma's talent in music revealed itself early. At the age of
seven, her parents enrolled her in a professional music school. By the
age of ten, she started actively performing on different stages as a
piano soloist, as well as playing in ensembles and with orchestras.
During her formative years at school, she began composing her own
music. Her earliest compositions consisted of instrumental piano pieces
which she originally created with handwritten musical notes. She
continued her education in music alongside recognized professors in
Moscow's Russian Gnesin Academy of Music. She earned her Master's
Degree in Piano Performance at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory.
Emma's dream was to work in television and compose music for films. In
1998, she built her first home-based music studio. She began composing
music utilizing new technology and experimenting with different genres
and styles. Her dreams would soon be realized. In 2001 she started
working for a television station as a composer and sound designer for
several animated series. During this time, she explored and mastered
the art of sound engineering. Since then, Emma has worked as a sound
engineer for various television and radio stations, and composed music
for both television and films. Emma has scored original music for over
30 television commercials, as well as dozens of animated movies,
documentaries, shows, and video games, demonstrating talent in a
variety of genres such as classical, pop, jazz, electronic. Her music
has great emotional impact, reach and power. Currently, Emma resides in
Toronto, Canada.
