This post contains spoilers for "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always."
It should come as no surprise that "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always" is completely filled with nostalgia. Unlike most other anniversary specials for the beloved tokusatsu franchise, "Once & Always" does not feature several iterations of Power Rangers meeting, like "Forever Red" or "Once a Ranger." Instead, this is entirely focused on the first series in the franchise, the multi-season "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" and its two generations of Rangers.
The special focuses on the return of Rita Repulsa, who has got herself a new robot body and brings tragedy to the Rangers. When Repulsa's armies start attacking Rangers around the world, new heroes will rise and the Power Rangers will see their legacy and their abilities tested. "Once & Always" sees the return of Zack Taylor (Walter Jones) and Billy Cranston (David Yost) from the first team, as...

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always is a Powers Rangers special set in 2023.
It may seem that this is written by ChatGPT, but the fact is more than curious because, despite being filmed in 2023, it has been made following the television schemes of the 90s? for the delight of their fans…
And for the astonishment of the rest of the viewers, who may not be prepared for what they are about to watch, nor believe it after watching it.
About the Movie
Power Rangers is a clear heir to the mythical Batman series of the 60s, the one with outfits taken from a costume store and kicks and punches “explained” with comic bubbles saying Boom! and Kapow! Well, this one is something of the sort,...

Power Rangers star Amy Jo Johnson is speaking out about reports surrounding her absence from Netflix's Might Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always.
When the anniversary project was announced, many of Johnson's former co-stars were confirmed to be on board.
The actress has taken issue with fans saying she didn't take part in the project due to monetary reasons.
"Please stop saying I didn't do reunion because of money. Simply not true," she wrote.
"Maybe I just didn't want to wear spandex in my fifties."
"Or I couldn't travel to New Zealand to film for a month. Or perhaps it's none of [your] beeswax."
The special was filmed before fellow co-star Jason David Frank's death.
Johnson shared that both actors declined the project for their "own reasons."
"[Jason David Frank] and I both chose not to for our own reasons. They filmed before he passed," Johnson wrote.

Instead of go-go Power Rangers for the 30th anniversary special on Netflix, at least one prominent cast member is singing no-go.
“For the record I never said no,” Johnson tweeted on Wednesday. “I just didn’t say yes to what was offered. But other fun stuff is in store! Looking forward to watching my friends kick ass!”

Some of the most memorable characters in Power Rangers history are assembling for a 30th anniversary special on Netflix. (Key word: some.)
Among those not returning is Amy Jo Johnson, who played Kimberly Hart, the first-ever Pink Ranger on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, from 1993 to 1995. And lest there be any confusion about why Kimberly isn’t suiting back up for old time’s sake, Johnson has cleared the air in a tweet.
