This article contains spoilers through season 5 of Arrow.
When most people think of actor Josh Segarra, they likely think of the lovable himbos he’s become known for. From Lance in The Other Two to Pug in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law to Manny in Abbott Elementary, and even Danny in Scream VI, Segarra’s recent roles may not all be the sharpest tools in the shed, but there’s no denying that they’re all kind and loyal at their core. But before Segarra became known for playing these appealing dudes, he took a turn as Arrow’s scariest villain.
Adrian Chase a.k.a. Prometheus certainly wasn’t the first man to seek revenge on Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) for things he did in the past, nor was he the first to push Oliver to his physical limits. But for all of the other formidable villains that came before – Deathstroke,...

In our Q&a series Popsugar Crush, we get to know some of our favorite celebs' more intimate details - from their first celebrity crush to their best love advice. This month, we're crushing on "The Other Two," "Scream," and "She-Hulk" actor Josh Segarra.
Josh Segarra has had a big year. Last summer, he starred as Pug, a very sweet and kind lawyer, in Disney+'s "She-Hulk" alongside Tatiana Maslany. In March, he entered the "Scream" franchise as a new love interest for Sam (Melissa Barrera). And this May, he returned to Max's "The Other Two" for season three as Lance, the shoe designer-turned-nurse with a heart of gold.
In this week's episode of "The Other Two," released June 22, Lance's ex Brooke (Heléne Yorke) discovers that he's been named People's Sexiest Man Alive - and she absolutely loses her mind. Segarra's own reaction was more subdued. "I texted my mom and my sister,...

While we weren't looking, "Scream" newcomer Josh Segarra has slowly been infiltrating every corner of the entertainment industry. Comic-book TV fans might know him as Adrian Chase/Vigilante in the now defunct CW "Arrowverse," or the show-stealing supporting character, Pug in "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law." When he's not fighting alongside superheroes, he's exuding wonderful "golden retriever" energy as Lance on HBO Max's "The Other Two."
In "Scream VI," the newest reinvention of the meta-horror slasher franchise, Segarra plays Danny, the handsome, supportive neighbor to protagonist Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera). Though it's a small role in a stacked ensemble full of likable, fresh faces, his charisma goes a long way. At this point of the franchise, we know better than to trust the love interest. And yet, Segarra's effortless and disarming charm makes it a little difficult -- not just for Sam, but for the audience too.

When Justin Townes Earle died at 38 in 2020, the Americana world was robbed of one of its brightest talents, a songwriter able to distill sadness, aspiration, and an undercurrent of alienation into vibrant, well-crafted folk songs. On Wednesday night in Nashville, those songs were brought back to vivid life during a year-delayed tribute concert to Justin.
Originally scheduled for last year on what would have been Justin’s 40th birthday but bumped until 2023 because of a surge in the pandemic, A Celebration of Justin Townes Earle gathered some of the artist’s contemporaries,...

From the moment that Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) publicly transforms into She-Hulk, she has to deal with trolls.
Marvel’s “She-Hulk: Attorney At Law” immediately and irreverently leans in to social media and toxic masculinity, to the obsession with women’s bodies and existence that seems to relentlessly haunt men online.
“When the show first came out, I was getting these really awful, mean, troll messages,” recalls series director Kat Coiro in a post-finale Zoom interview with IndieWire. “Just terrible things, ‘You should die’ and awful words — and as the series has progressed, that has started to go away, because we address the trolls. The trolls are the villains. I think these people realize that when they are doing [that], they’re playing right into our hands.”
“We always knew we were going to come under attack because that’s what happens to women in this world and this ethos,” she added.

The following review contains She-Hulk spoilers.
She-Hulk Episode 9
Throughout its first season She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has taken some big swings, creatively and narratively speaking. Its fourth-wall-breaking narration, procedural format, and lighter, more comedic feel have certainly set it apart from virtually every other entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date. So we probably shouldn’t be surprised that its season finale is truly unlike anything we’ve ever seen this franchise attempt before.
Your mileage may vary on whether you think “Whose Show Is This?” is a good ending to the She-Hulk’s first season or if it satisfactorily wraps up the outstanding elements of Jennifer Walters’ story that we’ve seen so far. But it’s certainly a memorable episode that takes big, ambitious swings, and in a franchise known for the safety and predictability of its formulas, that’s a pretty big deal. Did every joke land?...

This post contains spoilers for the latest episode of "She-Hulk: Attorney At Law."
She-Hulk, we hardly knew ya! Nine weeks have flown by in a flash, and though it feels like we've only just started to gel with the newest Marvel hero, our time together is already coming to a close ... at least for now, anyway. But that doesn't mean the journey wasn't memorable. "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" may have started off a bit rocky — its low-stakes, reluctant hero storyline didn't appeal to everyone — but to this writer at least, the series got better with time. As "She-Hulk" came closer to its finale though, a different issue arose: would the series stick the landing, or at least manage to avoid the trappings of the dreaded Marvel finale?
For so many projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the finale has come to be synonymous with messy, CGI-laden spectacle. Intricate character work...

You absolutely knew where She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was heading with its season finale. But Marvel knew you knew. So what you got instead was a closer that redefined “fourth wall-breaking,” brought back some familiar faces, and then introduced a brand-new, potentially important one to the MCU.

This article contains spoilers for the finale of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law
Whatever fans were expecting from the finale of Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, it’s fair to say those expectations were way off. After being banned from practicing law following the events of last week’s episode, Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) was fitted with an inhibitor and lost her job. She even had to move back in with her parents. But she was also determined to get to the bottom of the Intelligencia plot to humiliate and discredit her.
Colleagues Nikki (Ginger Gonzaga) and Pug (Josh Segarra) were soon on the case, infiltrating the cabal of internet trolls at Emil Blonsky’s retreat, where they had gathered to celebrate their victory over her. It was revealed that none other than Todd (Jon Bass), the gross dude who had popped up a few times and was clearly obsessed with Jen,...

She-Hulk Episode 7
Part of the appeal of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is that it so wholeheartedly embraces its sitcom format. So, we probably shouldn’t be surprised that this week’s installment opens with a kind of adorable dating montage where we get to see Jen get all giddy about finally going out with that nice guy Josh she met at her friend’s wedding last week. But, because this is also a Marvel show with supervillains in it, maybe we should have known that there was more going on here than just a cute date.
Because of course, Josh isn’t just some guy Jen met at some wedding, he’s a stealth operative playing a long con to get close enough to her to steal her blood for some unnamed Big Bad called HulkKing. Dating is a literal nightmare seems to be an unspoken theme of this show,...

Warning: minor spoilers below for "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law."
"She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" may have kicked off with a shakier-than-normal start, but the nine-episode Disney+ series has gradually found its footing over time. Since this is technically Marvel Studios' first straight-up comedy, it took a minute for "She-Hulk" to establish its own voice, especially within its mandated superhero conceit.
But as so many great sitcoms have already proven, the key to a successful comedy all but lives on its ensemble. Sure, solid leads are a must, too — and Tatiana Maslany certainly throws her weight where she can — but not even a charismatic heroine can distract from a glaring identity crisis.
Fortunately, that ship seems to have largely sailed for "She-Hulk," and it has a lot to do with the series' refreshing secret weapon: the hilarious women in its supporting cast. The series got a major boost with the help of...

At the halfway mark of its first season, it's become clear that "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" prides itself on being a down-to-earth approach to the grandest parts of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While other projects tend to play on a much bigger canvas, the latest Disney+ series attempts to paint a clear picture of what life is like for the average person in this dense superhero world, giving the MCU an opportunity to fill out the details we'd never get to see otherwise. And in the latest episode of "She-Hulk," the series finally explores a question that has been on the minds of many MCU fans since its inception.

This post contains spoilers for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Episode 5
She-Hulk might be a new character to the MCU, but she’s already proven herself to be at the center of the franchise’s superheroic world. In addition to being cousin to the Hulk, and thus privy to what Steve Rogers can do all night, Jen Walters’s job in superhuman law brings her into contact with other aspects of the superhero world, from small-timers the Wrecking Crew to super-influencer Titania. Even more than a sitcom about a super-lawyer, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has been a tour of the cottage industries built around superheroes.
Episode 5 continues that trend by bringing Jen into the world of superhero fashion. Thanks to the sleuthing of would-be style icons Nikki and Pug, Jen meets Luke Jacobson, a hyper-exclusive fashion designer who only creates for the greatest of heroes. Think Edna from The Incredibles, but somehow even more condescending.

Megan Thee Stallion has a pretty significant cameo in the third episode of "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law." For most of the episode, which was released Sept. 1, viewers only hear about Megan. Jennifer Walters, aka, She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany), is pretty busy dealing with her newest client, the Abomination, aka Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth). Meanwhile, her coworker Pug (Josh Segarra) is dealing with a difficult client of his own: Jennifer's old coworker Dennis Bukowski (Drew Matthews).
It turns out Dennis is the victim of a mystical scam: he thought he was dating Megan Thee Stallion, when really he was dating an Asgardian woman with the powers to shape-shift who got him to buy her expensive presents. A lot of the episode makes fun of Dennis for thinking that Megan Thee Stallion would actually date him or need him to buy her things.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Episode 3
Hi there. Marvel Standom’s Alec filling in for Marvel Standom’s Kirsten this week. It’s nice to meet you all! Now let’s talk about the twerking.
In keeping with its pre-release promise, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has featured at least one post-credit sequence in each of its first three episodes. The post-credit scene at the end of the premiere was perhaps that respective episode’s funniest moment, in which a celebratory Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) cries out to the heavens that “Captain America fucks!” The second episode’s scene, where a She-Hulkified Jen helps her father with arduous tasks around the house, was less effective but ultimately harmless.
The post-credit scene for this third episode, however, isn’t just a end-of-episode stinger…it’s a litmus test. How one feels about a painfully earnest moment featuring a...

"She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" is promising to be a bold new step in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This isn't because the show is going to feature a galaxy-altering villain or a big cinematic battle, but rather, it's looking to be the opposite of many Marvel projects. From navigating the New York City dating scene to working on superhuman legal cases, "She-Hulk" looks to shine a light on the unseen, somewhat mundane events happening in-between "Avengers" team-ups.
Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) is your typical city lawyer in her mid-30s, trying to navigate her life in-between big cases. She also just so happens to be the cousin of the Incredible Hulk himself, Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo). After she accidentally comes into contact with her cousin's blood, Jennifer is now able to transform into a six-foot-four superhuman, appropriately dubbed She-Hulk. With the help of Bruce, she attempts to live as normal a...
