I'm not sure what it says about this season that the best installment thus far had everyone paired up and scattered around.
It's clear that the objective for this second effort has been to show the next step in Minx's evolution: its success. And it's been hard for some, while nearly everyone and every relationship has changed now that Minx has become a household name.
As we barrel toward the finale Minx Season 2 Episode 6, was a slap in the face for many as they realized how much things were changing, including themselves.
I've lamented the lack of Doug and Tina this season, and it's a shame that we got an episode that focused on their relationship, only for it to feel like a precursor to its conclusion.
We've never been privy to exactly what happened in the past between the pair, but here we found out that after their former relationship,...

Stephen Amell and Kelli Berglund in ‘Heels’ season 2 episode 2 (Photo Credit: Starz)
Before diving into a recap of Starz’s Heels season two episode two, let’s take a brief look at what went down in the season two premiere.
Season two episode one spent most of the hour with a flashback to the events immediately following Tom Spade’s suicide. Heels fans learned more about Jack and Ace’s relationship, and that Ace (Alexander Ludwig) finally convinced Jack (Stephen Amell) to allow him to enter the ring for the first time. Ace made his wrestling debut during a special one-night-only tribute to his father’s memory.
It turned out that Ace is a natural in the ring.
Episode one also briefly caught up with the celebration in the aftermath of the season one final’s championship match at the South Georgia State Fair that found Bunny transforming from valet to belt holder.

Minx is making that money, honey!
And everyone was reaping the rewards on Minx Season 2 Episode 3. Though you know what they say about getting everything you ever wanted, don't you?
Yeah, me either. But maybe one day, we'll be lucky enough to find out.
It's been six months since Constance bought Bottom Dollar, and Minx returned home, and everyone was figuring out their new normal. Because suddenly, they were not a struggling magazine trying to find themselves but a bonafide hit.
For Joyce, she found everything a little bit fragile and hard to fully embrace. And that makes a ton of sense when you think about history and how it treats women.
Naturally, Joyce had her hackles up, and she didn't want to be seen as aggressive or difficult, so she refrained from pushing back against Doug and generally just avoided being alone with Simon until she realized that it wasn't doing her any favors.

When you think about "The Haunted Mansion" a few images jump immediately to mind. The hitchhiking ghosts, the iconic wallpaper, the creepy exterior, Madame Leota's floating head, and, of course, the spooky figure in a cloak and tophat known only as The Hatbox Ghost.
What you might not be aware of, especially if you're a relatively new fan of the attraction, is that The Hatbox Ghost was something of legend for decades, a piece of Disney Park iconography that was whispered about, but rarely seen.
The rumors surrounding this imposing figure grew and grew since the 1969 opening of "The Haunted Mansion," to the point where it's hard to distinguish between fact and fiction. Some people claim he was present on the ride when it opened (there's some potential home video evidence to support this), some say he was pulled before the official opening. Whatever the truth is, it's unquestionable that...

Before indie sleaze, there was porno chic. And if Apple TV+’s recent “City on Fire” brought back to life the fashions and music of the early oughts’ indie sleaze heyday, then Starz’s “Minx” absolutely owns porno chic, down to the last unbuttoned button.
Set during the ‘70s as indefatigable feminist Joyce (Ophelia Lovibond) reluctantly teams up with porn publisher Doug Renetti to transform her The Matriarchy Awakens magazine pitch into Minx, a porn magazine for women filled with both feminist theory and schwanzes, the show initially premiered on HBO Max before moving to Starz as a result of the streamer’s content purge. Never mind the new home, though, Ellen Rapaport’s silly, sexy, and serious comedy remains as solidly built as before even as the characters experience radical growth in its sophomore season.

At this point in Peak TV, it’s almost harder to think of an old, beloved series that hasn’t come back in some fashion — and yet, even within that landscape, Starz’s long-overdue third season of Party Down stands out as the rare revival that completely and utterly works. Within the first minutes of the premiere, it’s clear this cast and crew haven’t missed a step.
There’s Ryan Hansen as Kyle, impenetrably ditzy as ever, and Martin Starr as Roman, bitter as Kyle is upbeat. Jane Lynch’s woo-woo Constance is back, and so is Megan Mullally’s high-strung Lydia. As a pair of new hires, Tyrel Jackson Williams and Zoë Chao fit so seamlessly into the gang that it seems they’ve always been there.
And of course, leading them all once again is Ronald Donald, played to pathetic perfection by Ken Marino. If Adam...
