The 49th annual Chaplin Gala presenters have been officially unveiled to honor award recipient Jeff Bridges.
Bridges’ former co-stars Sharon Stone, Chris Pine, Cynthia Erivo, and Rosie Perez will all toast the Academy Award winner’s contributions to film as Bridges receives the coveted Chaplin Award on April 29.
Erivo starred with Bridges in “Bad Times at the El Royale” (2018), while Perez appeared with Bridges in “Fearless” (1993). Pine was side-by-side with Bridges in Oscar-nominated Western “Hell or High Water” (2016), and Sharon Stone acted opposite Bridges in both “Simpatico” (1999) and “The Muse” (1999).

“Bob Trevino Likes It” has wrapped production in Louisville, Ky. and has unveiled its first official photo. Myriad Pictures has acquired worldwide sales rights and will launch sales out of Toronto in September. The film is one of the first independent productions to be approved for a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement during the actors strike.

Sony Pictures Classics said it’s planning to release Sean Mullin’s documentary on baseball superstar Yogi Berra, It Ain’t Over, in theaters in New York and Los Angeles on May 12, expanding over following weeks.

Sony Pictures Classics has acquired worldwide rights to It Ain’t Over, the feature documentary about legendary New York Yankees catcher Yogi Berra directed by Amira & Sam helmer Sean Mullin. The pic had its world premiere earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Guy Nattiv’s Oscar-nominated short film Skin has been acquired by Fox Searchlights Pictures.
The acquisition was announced today by Fox Searchlight Pictures’ Chairmen Nancy Utley and Stephen Gilula and Evp, Global Acquisition & Co-Prod, Tcf Acquisitions Ray Strache.
