Patrick Wilson is a sound recordist and designer whom apprenticed under Ric Viers (owner of Blastwave FX) and interned under David Sonnenschein (author of "Sound Design: The Expressive Power of Music, Voice, and Sound Effects in Cinema").
Patrick has learned a wide spectrum of sound studies directly from Dennis Burke, Gordon Durity, Brady Cranfield, and Matt Stephanson at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. He continues his aural practice taking workshops from the New Adventures In Sound Art (NAISA) organization based out of Toronto, Ontario and learning Acoustic Communication from Barry Truax in Burnaby, British Columbia.
Patrick currently resides in Vancouver, Canada.
