Peacock has dropped the trailer for the inaugural season of The Traitors which premieres on January 12. Watch the trailer in the video posted above.
One of the most notable moments of the preview was The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum calling her fellow castmates “traitors” during a banishment meeting. Bravo fans know that Glanville is known for calling it out from her time as a housewife.
The trailer ends with host Alan Cumming telling Glanville, “And you thought The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was bad.”
The Traitors is based on a Dutch format and the U.S. version comes on the heels of the success of the BBC version which concluded in December 2022. The show set in a remote castle in the Scottish Highlands brings celebrities and civilians together to complete a series of challenges with the objective of earning a cash prize of up to 250,000. The catch?...

The Resident is losing its leading lady.
Per Deadline, Emily VanCamp is checking out of the Fox medical drama after four seasons in the role of Nic Nevin.
The outlet states that VanCamp asked to be released from her contract at the end of The Resident Season 4.
There was a desire for the actress to come back in a guest-starring role to wrap up her character's arc, but it did not work out.
With no indication about how the character will be written out, fans have already been questioning what the recently released promo means.
The promo shows a lot of intense drama for the characters, and there are even hints that the show could be giving Nic a permanent exit by the way of death.
VanCamp revealed last week that she and her husband, Josh Bowman, had welcomed their first child, Iris.

Warning: This interview contains spoilers from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Episode 3, “The Power Broker.”
Agent Sharon Carter, we hardly knew thee, is essentially what it boils down to after seeing Captain America’s former flame show up in Episode 3 of Disney+/Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
While still showing an ability to get a guy out of tricky situation — similar to how she saved Captain America in his second movie, she saves Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes from a bunch of bounty hunters several times over in Episode 3– Carter is a little jaded; on the run from the U.S., hiding out in the Pan Pacific island city of Madripoor.
“So much has changed. Everything that used to motivate Sharon Carter is no longer. That’s pretty evident in Episode 3 off the bat, when we see her. Clearly Sharon’s been through it, and isn’t too happy about that.

Main characters can be overrated. There, I said it.
The problem with main characters is that there’s so much pressure placed on them to be likable.
Sometimes the added pressure works in a character's favor, but other times, the extra attention turns what could have been an admirable lead into one that either falls flat or appears too overdeveloped.
That's rarely the case with sidekicks as they are quite literally created with the intention of propping up said main character
Now, that isn't to say the role of a sidekick is easy; their job is especially difficult as they bear a handful of responsibilities. They’re known as supporting and secondary characters that assist the main character, break the ice in tense situations using comedic relief, give advice, and clean up messes.
They also have the ability to raise the stakes of a show without outshining the lead.
Except...

These characters helped define an entire decade of television -- maybe not for everyone, but certainly for our TV Fanatic staff and readers!
Please remember that with have almost two dozen favorites lists that we couldn't showcase every show on every list, so we parsed them out a bit to make it more fun.
And these lists are not in any particular order. They're in the order the entries were received by TV Fanatic staff, so don't read into them!
To qualify, a show that began in another decade had to be airing during the decade, run a larger number of seasons from 2010 through 2019 if it started before 2010 or run the entire decade. Here we go!

Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke's twisted tale of revenge is over, but ABC is poised to kick off a new iteration of Revenge.
We reported earlier this month that a brand new series set in the same universe of 2011-15 TV original is officially in the works.
The new iteration follows a young Latinx immigrant who arrives in Malibu seeks revenge on a "Sackler-Esque pharmaceutical dynasty, whose insatiable greed lead to the murder of her biochemist mother, the destruction of her family, and a global epidemic."
The most intriguing aspect of a potential sequel is that a character from the original would be on board to guide this young woman on her mission.
No details have been revealed about who will be back, but that doesn't mean we can't chat about who should return in some capacity for the sequel.
The series was filled with colorful characters, and that's why...

ABC is not done with Revenge after all.
Deadline is reporting that the broadcast network is developing a reboot of the hit 2011-15 TV series.
This new take comes from the original series creator and Executive Producer Mike Kelley, and writer-producer Joe Fazzio.
Both Kelley and Fazzio pen the pilot. It features the story of a young Latinx immigrant who arrives in Malibu to dole out some revenge on a "Sackler-Esque pharmaceutical dynasty, whose insatiable greed lead to the murder of her biochemist mother, the destruction of her family, and a global epidemic."
What's intriguing is that a beloved character from the original series is staging a comeback to guide this young woman on her pathway to exact revenge.
As for which character that is, we don't know yet. Given that there were rumblings that a spin-off series featuring Gabriel Mann's Nolan Ross, then...

ABC isn’t done getting Revenge: The network is developing a follow-up to its 2011-15 drama, which hails from the original series’ creative team, according to our sister site Deadline.
The potential series — which will reportedly also be titled Revenge — will follow a young Latinx immigrant who arrives in Malibu to exact revenge on a pharmaceutical dynasty that caused “the murder of her biochemist mother, the destruction of her family and a global epidemic.” (That’s quite a résumé.)

HBO's hit TV series The Deuce examines the lives of sex workers in New York City amid porn's controversial rise to popularity in the 1970s. It's an amazing drama with a phenomenal cast including James Franco, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Gary Carr, and many more (Method Man included). We've been anxiously awaiting season two's debut, and now that it's finally here, we can again dive deep into the show's heated plot points and enjoy the firecracker cast. With a new look on the show, one cast member in particular has been catching our attention.
Abby Parker stepped on the scene in season one as a trailblazing, vivacious college student who becomes Vincent Martino's (Franco) latest romantic interest. In the second season, we've jumped ahead to when Parker is about 26 years old. We think Margarita Levieva plays the character perfectly, so we couldn't help but wonder where else this actress has left her mark.
