Last night, CBS released the new promo/spoiler clip (below) for their upcoming "The Mentalist" episode 11 of season 7, and it gives us new looks at Patrick getting quite suspicious of the new psychic phenom in town, wondering if he might actually be the killer, and more! The episode is titled, "Little Yellow House." In the new episode 7 official plotline: A murder investigation will become personal for Lisbon when her brother is the key witness. Plotline number 2: A murder investigation is going to become personal for Lisbon when she learns that her underachieving younger brother, Jimmy, is being sought as a key witness. Rob Belushi and Derek Phillips guest star as Jimmy and Stan, Lisbon's brothers. The episode was written by Marisa Wegrzyn, and it was directed by Ed Ornelas. Episode 7 is scheduled to air on Wednesday night, January 14th at 7pm central time on CBS.

Writer-director Yule Caise has been selected as this year’s Fox Writers Intensive Fellow. Chosen from the sophomore class of 10 Fwi finalists, Caise has inked a development deal with FX Networks, in conjunction with Fox Broadcasting Co and 20th Century Fox Television, and will pitch a new original script to FX. In addition, Fox will award Caise’s referring organization, the NAACP Hollywood Bureau, a $15,000 Fwi grant to be earmarked for its writing program. In addition to Caise, the sophomore Fwi class included finalists Angela Allen, Sal Calleros, Carol Doyle, Sara Endsley, Warren Hsu Leonard, Nick Ozeki, Chitra Sampath, Theo Travers and Marisa Wegrzyn. Following their completion of the Fwi, all of the finalists are being submitted for potential staffing on Fox entertainment productions.
